the xbox 360 and the xbox 360 elite hasen't been out for 4 years, i had an xbox 360 when i come out in 2005, but ive had a few break and im on my 3rd or 4th one and this ones lasted a long time.

Same here, i have a fucking crap load of games to play, [GoW2, L4D, COD:WAW, FC2.] and now that my Xbox just died today my Christmas and new year is ruined. Also, i bought the new 3 maps for Gears of war 2 [Combustible Mappack.] and only played like an hour or so of gameplay. and boom i get the RROD. I called microshitsoft to get an RMA. true story. hope you get your stuff sorted out. i think i might just buy an arcade console.

Ya same thing happened to me a month ago, and i have an elite too. I got mine back in 3 days, so don't worry.  Also, three of my friends got the red ring the same time as me. Coincidence?
