@kevencarson I love the fact you don't really 'get' that a good song can mean many things to many people.

imo this song is all about being an addict, in denial but struggling to admit their addiction. Many of the lines show this contradiction. Take the chorus for example where the line 'I'm not an addict' is tagged by the admission (maybe that's a lie)

I guess I would say this tho, as I too was an addict.

She is just describing the downfall of someone denying an addiction to a heaven-like feeling through heavier drug use. Im 19, been addicted from my 14th till my 17th, dont believe it's a nice thing to use.

I have been drug free for 3 yrs and still cant go to my home town as I am now classed as a leper. I will never be the same and have forever lost my *SPARK*.
