I'm sure you guys are cool kids, but I just thought the video was lame. poorly made, and I'm just not a fan of 50 percent of the missionary videos either. They degrade the calling of a missionary, and make them look like kids. so with the youtube generation, that's going to be the view of missionaries to the whole world. and why are they making video's on their missions anyway? haven't they read the white handbook? mormon 8:36-38

I'm not sure I like this to much. In my opinion, hymns are sacred, prayers to father in heaven, and intended to invite the spirit. I didnt feel the spirit from this. Its kinda mocking. But on the other hand, the scriptures do say that "the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me". And I am sure this song was made with the best intentions in heart

I think that some hymns aren't able to be turned in rock version. It depends of the using situation. It is a question of context, and this hymn is to a certain extent able to hear in rock version also. But not in the church of course.

Exactly.....We are called by God through the Holy Spirit to go and serve a mission for 2 solid years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

We also continue to share the gospel through the way that we live by service for others.....be they Members or non-members........

LDS people pray and save most of their lives to serve & be called by the Spirit. They're NOT paid to do it & they pay for all the expenses themselves. When they get an answer for themselves; they go through the process of being ordained of God to do his Holy Work. My husband is "black" from a VERY poor family & honorably served in IL, NY & PA. MANY missionaries from ALL over the world are serving. You've been misinformed. Ask questions before making un-educated statements.

Actually, we made the movie in half a day, for a church youth activity. But you always have time on your hands in highschool! Making movies was just something we did for fun then, we just haven't got them all on youtube yet.
