The Comedy Central episodes lacked most of the local sketches - there was Speedwalker, Mind Your Manners with Billy Quan, Bill Nye's original Science Guy bits, the Lame List, and others. Some sketches (like Billy Quan) were also co-opted for the 1990 FOX sketch show Haywire.
Hmm, this show went national? Funny cuz it's humor is mainly specific to Seattle. It's Seattle humor. Such as to understand Ballard, you need to be from Seattle. Not sure the rest of the nation would understand this show.
I knew it. The aliens aren't at Area 51. They're in Ballard, Washington. That explains all the old people.

ah just did a quick look. did a two season stint on comedy central. Obviously no one understood the jokes since 90% of them were local jokes

It was syndicated on comedy central. It did run a couple seasons

Yeah they did syndicate it on Comedy Central for a bit but they edited out a lot of the Seattle area specific humor. It ended up being pretty lame.

@NewMexicoSunset
I watched it in Canada, and loved it. I learned "all" I know about Seattle from the show! LOL. The unofficial stuff anyways.
I think for the national stuff, they tried to stick to the less local humour. I'd have to watch the Almost Live retrospective I have to verify...

Almost Live at it's local, goofy best! Spoofing Snoose Junction!

Oh my gosh, this is hysterical! I loved this show. And seeing Ivar's face brought back all those ads.
