  • I didn't like the movie since it didn;t follow some of the story good.

  • eragon. it was ridiculously bad. :( i loved that book.. the movie was disappointing.

  • the Da Vinci Code a bad movie???!!!!! YOU WANT TROUBLE YOU CAN GET TROUBLE!

  • The only 2 good movies Brendan is in were Gods and Monster and the Mummy the rest were just garbage

  • Eragon was the worst book turned movie. I loved the Books so much, but the movies just sucked so much, it was so terrible, and the funny thing is, in inkheart, resa or the mom is Arya in the eragon movie, and i apsolutely despied her in eragon.

  • @Torreywolf well If they wanted to make a sequel they could somehow turn it into a dream sequence? Idk what I'm saying anymore lol

  • i love the interview with the kids, one of the kids actually read the book awwww :) They still read! there is hope people!

  • It was alright, bit boring.

  • The movie was terrible compared to the book. It never had a happy ending as depicted in the movie (I won't spoil it though) it wouldn't have worked if they wanted to make a sequel, but they probably would've messed up Inkspell too. Overall, I give it two stars

  • iaa la tengloo en español blueray jaaaa

  • lol hes not even in GI.JOE

  • shity movie

  • probably the most horrible adaptation of a book is this movie i couldnt even watch 10 mins of it. I dont think they even followed the story at all

  • This movie deeply bored me.. lol

The worst movie adaptation I've seen is Spiderwick. Ehhh.. I loved the books but the movie was very forgettable. Twilight was insanely lame, but I haven't read the book.

    JM

  • You can find this video and download it b @ MOOV ZON, COM just google for the link above

  • the worst book-movie adaptation I've ever seen is eragon. good movie, but compared to the ook it was crap

  • MORE details than the book?! This is unheard of in book-films! >:O

  • Actually, the movie was enjoyable. I had read the book and it was great. It stayed somewhat close to the book.

  • Books were amazing, movie sucked.

  • the book was great, the actors were great, the producers manipulated the story.

But books don't always come to life, it's only when you have that silvertongue :D

  • I don't even know what was going on in the Eragon movie, the writer must've never read the book or just read a crappy summary cuz that movie was nothing like the book :l

  • eragon was THE worst, worse then twilight

  • the worst movie adaptation of a book= ERAGON!

  • couldnt agree more

  • cheesy

  • City of Ember

  • CITY OF EMBER.

  • i read the book... and the movie looks suck

  • i agree with anterprebe i loved Eragon but i hated the movie it was terrible compared to the book!!

  • 2:10, is that dude in the background a really under dressed pimp, or just an old guy?

    haha

  • lol seriously

  • the worst was city of ember, LOVED the book HATED the movie!

  • Wait a minute he made both Hackers and K-Pax- I gotta see this film now!!

  • He looks like the guy who arrested in NY TV for ponzi $50 million away.

  • Seeing as garbage is released in January, I thought Inkheart was gunna bad... I was suprised at how much I enjoyed it...

  • good, you do that...

inkheart was FAR better than those...

  • yeah i love that movie. but they were kinda cheap, cutting out the tinkerbell scene.

  • eragon completely suked

  • been there, done that.

  • Eragon worst adaptation ever didn't make any sense and didn't even follow the story line of the book I wold give it -10/10

  • I HATE DA VANCHI CODE!

  • i HATED eragon... rly terrible movie.

also i rly wasnt in to seeing inkheart but all the positive responses kinda made me interested

  • @SCREAMfanatic123 Eragon was NOT a terrible movie, its a heck of a lot better than the book... its taken me like at least 3 years to get to the halfway mark of the first book lol

  • Read the Bible and things happen!doubt doesn't

    stop scripture either....

  • I'd give it a 9. I thought it was a wonderful movie. A fairy tale brought to our time. And what girl doesn't enjoy watching Brendan Fraser & Paul Bettany. Hehe It won't win any awards but it leaves you feeling great & wishing there was these other dimensions that we read of. :)

  • Wow - what awesome responses! :)

Geez, I had no idea Eragon was so bad. Now I'm especially glad I didn't see it!

  • @BeyondTheTrailer Oh it was such a disapointing waste of time, I turned it off half way through so didnt even see the whole thing :P

  • The Worst Book Adaption Was The Davichi Code 2

    The Best Marley And Me.

  • Eragon was the worst book adaptation I've seen.

    :P

I have not read Inkheart so I might enjoy this more than people that have read the book.

It does look quite good tho.

    -Ryan

  • worse book adaptation ever?

    Eragon!

The book was an amazingly well write book, but the movie look like all they did was read the title and throw a bunch of shitting sense together! i left the movie it was so bad. Love the book!!

  • im glad to see that Brendan Fraser is comeing back i've always liked him.

  • I really liked him in Big Fish.

  • He wasn't in Big Fish. That was Ewan McGregor in the lead role.

  • The worst book/movie adaptation I have ever seen in my short 15 years is by far Eragon. The book was amazing and the movie was barely like the book. It was just.... terrible.

  • One,look at the scenes and charachters!

Thats a spooky thing to make look authentic...They don't use magic! Thats what people are using,in other ways to dissapoint things...

  • wors book adaptation ever?

    CITY OF EMEBER

ugh the movie was so horiable and was nothing like thebook at all

  • If it was up to me I'd say: You are only allowed to make an adaptation of a book to movie once it's prime popularity has passed by ten years. WHY? simple: After ten years, the books that no one is interested in any more where obviously not worth it in the first place. If it was really worth the wait and there is still a steady and large fan base (Lord of the Rings, Jane Austen Novels) the director will have to make a serious effort not to disappoint! :) Everyone wins & less crap on the market.

  • You are basing it off, other opinions also!

    Therefore,not an original judgment,but a

    locality....You are close-minded!

  • *lol* how do you know i am taking this from others? i watched eragon and hated it xD that is pretty much all too it and it really doesnt matter if you feel the same way or not ;)

  • oh yea eragon was definitely the worst

  • I think The Air I Breathe was the best Fraser movie ever. Great story, great acting, great film.

  • I HATED that movie so much. I was at the press screening, so it was free, and I still felt like something was taken from me. Oh yeah, precious time of my life, that was it. The book was very poorly portrayed because the focus of the movie was all on the action... I hate that ^^ Eragon was the worst Book to Movie adaption I had ever seen.

  • the Movies are made sloppily and bad. The acting is lame, everything is lame. Even when Eragon has a bunch of great actors such as Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich, the dialogue was lame, the kid was a pretty boy, totally unfit for the role, the chemistry was horrid to nonexistent and the way the story moved along was... I can't even describe.

  • Worst book adaptation ever: Surely Eragon, though it was nearly a tie between that one and Twilight. Sure, the books are both kinda childish standard fantasy flicks for teens, but I had fun reading them. But every time a movie is made when trying to ride on the success of the books (as was the case with the DaVinci Code too)

  • Worst book into movie Iv ever seen was

    P.S I love you.

Never read the book but the movie was so cheesy I cringed a lot while watching it.

  • I haven't read the book myself but i really enjoyed watching that movie.

P.S I love you had a very serene feeling to it and i thuoght the acting was very good

  • uh oh...looks like Brendan Frasier's losing it. The worst adaptation for a movie was not a book but a video game. Silent Hill did not make any sense one bit. i hope the sequel will be better if it gets ever made.

  • cool
