@jjpeterson1 The Chinese DO want freedom...but after the World War, if the U.S. had maybe given China (then their ally) some more help against the Communists instead of lending so much aid to Japan, maybe the Nationalists would have remained in power.
Nowdays china youth are selfsih.Compare to the brave ones during June 4th Tiananmen Square Massacre.Kudos to the those died during June 4th Tiananmen Square Massacre.
funny how US and media always portrayed china communist but never talk about the common man in China who gave their lives for freedom and liberty! and China is the most favored nation for US!
I read in news articles that China blocked sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc to prevent any 6/4 incident so that mainland won't have any access to this piece of history. If it wasn't a big deal as China described, then why is its government so worried & anxious. Its citizen aren't allowed to talk about it. So many news articles covering this topic today around the world. Kudos to HK folks for the biggest turnout in commemorating the incident since this sad part of history took place.

I feel that if there will be a new revolution in china it will not be made by the students, but by the peasants being left behind by the CCP..

Such a sad and sickening story. This is the 20th Anniversary. To think that they would run civilians over with tanks is just unbelievable.
