First I want to say that your husband is real cool guy and you are a nice couple. Thanks for sharing this conversation because in some way I felt understood and not alone. My husband is always telling me not to be that negativ. I try but don´t succeed always. Belive me... you are not alone with acting and thinking about like this. Best of luck !
Selective reduction is just as painful, if not more painful as miscarriage. I miscarried at 16 1/2 weeks on August 26, 2009. I got pregnant through IUI. Selective reduction is done at 13 weeks. If you get pregnant with triplets, you will have bonded with those babies by then, it would be excruciating to have to decide which of your babies to keep. Think long and hard when you decide how many embryos to put in.
I am sure there are so many terrible things that have to be done to get to having a baby in your positon but in our pastors sermon, he said that in the bible God says he gives you obstacles to go through to make you a better person. Maybe this will make you be a better parent / person. Then you will cherish your child more. (unlike some that beat or do harm to their children) I am not sure if you believe in a higher power but it's nice to rationalize why you have to stuggle so much. Good luck
I think your husband has a fantastic attitude, he's positive and realistic with it! Lovely man and seems like he'd be a great support to you! He's a good'un, Dawn, UK.
Thanks for sharing this very natural (and for lack of a better word) real conversation between you two. I think what you're feeling is normal but it's good to have a husband in your life that isn't afraid to tell ya to chill out. I know I'm thankful for that characteristic in my husband.
i feel like i just watch my hubby & I talk. He is the Positive one, i'm the negative one. l0l. thank you so much for making video's. BABY DUST TO YOU! :D
Sarah, we are women, we naturally worry about things. Dont feel bad for allowing yourself to think about what "COULD" happen. We all do it.
I've had 2 miscarriages and its the worst feeling in the world. I pray that you will be spared ever knowing what its like. Take it a day at a time. Cause sometimes thats all IF will allow you too.
Im with Chris. I feel really good about this for you. Look at the + of this. You have great inlaws and you're very blessed to have the means to do IVF.
I love your husband!! He is so sweet and cute!! Just try to keep your head up hun! I started my Clomid today.. So maybe we can be preggers at the same time!!! I wish you the BIGGEST BFP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your character is as described on this video ,which is exactly like mine, being a parent will always give you reasons to worry about...and I am not saying this to discourage you...my kids are 7 and 4 years old and not a day goes by without being worried for someting...silly most of the time..like now that my son has a new tooth coming out and the old one is still there...and even though the dentist said it's ok I drive myself crazy..!IT'S US..
You are such a strong people Sarah to get this far. IVF isn't something my partner and I need to try yet, so i cant understand how you feel. But take it day by day, but also think about that little bundle of joy your going to be holding at the end.
I think as women we are more paranoid, negative, think of the bad "what ifs" and men are more simple. It sounds like your husband is positive and that is great, it's wonderful to have these men in our lives to bring us up and try to make us positive! Can't wait for more updates! Cool video!
I really like this video. It's very candid. You let us in on a private conversation between the two of you about infertility and your feelings. I really appriciate it.
OMG this sounds just like me and my hubby the other day leaving our fertility clinic....its so funny.....really just listen to you hubby and try and stay postive! LOTS OF BABY DUST TO YA!
Your hubby seems great!!! Reminds me of my hubby...they both get frustrated with us worrying about the "what ifs" and thinking negatively. So hard not to. Anyway good luck and glad you have great support!!!
what a sweet hubby you have hunny!! Just take each jump as they come! Enjoy each and every small pleasure! Keep faith and positive thinking and above all else believe that this will happen for you guys!! Love Ya ~~HUGS~~
