@DreaJinx mine used to break too! if your nails break it means that your nails are not healthy... i read putting nail polish can cause breakage to the nails...you have to let your nails breathe once in a while... i guess that's what the base coat from this video is for...to prevent the nail color's chemicals to 1st handly penetrate the nails....

@DreaJinx a good way to look after your nails is to use a basecoat whenever painting your nails. let your nails breath once in a whlie too. and when you paint your nails leave a reaaly small space at the bottom. around the cuticle. and get a good nail strengthener too. that works wonders. file and massage your cuticles once a week. and buff them to get them smooth and shiny without topcoat if they are bare. also good diet helps with nail growth.

@SUPERDEVILCHILD99 Here is what i did: I used a Nail Rhinestone kit from my local Dollar Tree and used the rhinestones to make the flowers instead... or Dollar Tree sells high quality nail polish strips or you can buy the Sally Hansen ones for $8.50 the dollar store ones cost $1.00. so hope that helps and another thing is PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! It also helps to rest both hands on the table when painting.

But i use a base coat EVERY time i paint my nails, i do that more for the staining than for the adhereing, because maybe the only time your decided not to use a base coat you put on your nails a REALLY staining color, and you don't know what to do later. I feel bad when i don't put a base coat on, so i put it, is like a routine for me: Base Coat, Polish(Design), Top Coat. .

@YoCreoK I saw many dotting tools being sold online. But you can also adapt stuff in the house to use as dotting tool too. This person also made "Make Your Own Nail Dotting Tool" giving good examples/idea.
