If I remember correctly, this was at most seven days after our group saw the same musical in Chicago. The Wed/Sat/Sun character had to play Frankie on a Thurs. Why? Because the original Frankie in Chicago was getting ready for the Tonys.

I saw Joesph Leo Bwarie as Frankie Valli. When he finished Can't Take My Eyes off You, he got a standing ovation that lasted a good couple of minutes. He looked very touched. I really loved it and want to see it again.

So I posted a comment 8 months ago and at that point I had only seen Dominic and Jarrod as Frankie, but now I have also seen Joseph Leo Bwarie and he is phenomenal, but I will still stick by my belief that Dominic is the best! If I had to rate..its Dominic in 1st place, Joseph in 2nd and Jarrod in 3rd. Now dont get me wrong, they are all supremely talented and wonderful! But Dominic is special, he is mesmerizing!

Ahh, the only thing with this that annoyed me was the intro to oh what a night wasnt more powerful! I hope people get what I mean? When I hear this song in my head and also when I hear it on the soundtrack, the piano is so much stronger. Especially in the French Ces soirées-là version, the piano is is powerful and really brings out the meaning of the song! It's supposed to be a night to remember... That version was more like "Its just like another other night" in 63! Apart from that loved it!

Joseph Leo Bwarie is the ultimate Frankie...with Jarrod Spector running a close second. You absolutely cannot beat Joe's smooth voice. Go see him in Philly or Boston soon, and you can't help but agree.  You gotta see the whole show to appreciate it! Courter is also in this show (as little Joey), and he is fabulous!! The National Tour cast ROCKS!!

I saw Jarrod on Broadway on 7/18 and got his autograph! He was AMAZING and he actually sounded like Frankie Valli. The cast I saw was the one on stage in this video and they were great too! Jersey Boys is officially one of my all time favorite Broadway shows aside from the fact that the music is from the Four Seasons.

I watched Dominic Scaglione Jr in the Chicago cast 2 yrs ago, he was Amazing! I went again Jan 3rd this year (1 week b4 the last show here in Chicago) they had a different Frankie, also good but Scaglione nailed the part. He's a must see if he's in Vegas now trust me.

I like how they brought out 5 Frankie's, but the only reason broadway Frankie sounded better than the others was because he sang the key lyric. It was the loudest and most powerful lyric of the song. Any one of the five would have killed that part honestly.

While I'm convinced that Spector remains several light years beyond anyone else....including John Lloyd Young.....I happen to think, if this brief peformance is any indication, that Bwarie looks and sounds pretty good. Of course, I'm splitting hairs here; anyone fortunate enough to be chosen for the prime Valli role is truly a rare performer.
