  • Nice vid. I struggled with the reassembly the first time around when I didn't line up the hole under the barrel with the pin. Had the barrel just swimming around in there. That was a good point to mention for new users. I also just ordered the s.s. guide rod from guide rod dot com and am looking forward to installing that. The poly one seemed a little bendy although I have no doubt Sig would stand behind it.

  • Hi I just purchased this gun and wanted the ss rod but I was wondering if it is ok to put it in right away I hear you should wait 500 rd to first break the gun in just wondering.. And thank you for your video it was very informative for me..

  • @dougdemasi Hey there, thanks for watching my vid. I have had no problem with putting in the SS guide rod as soon as you get your gun. I have done that with 2 of my Sig Pro's (one 9mm and one 40S&W) and I have not had a single problem. I think that has a lot to do with the quality of Mr. Steve Bedair's guide rods. Take care and have fun with your new pistol.

  • I like the way you presented this information in your video #UN#, quite engaging for the audience. More people need to make videos like this!

  • What model laser is that?

  • @boostednlinefor It's the Sig brand "CPL-1 Classic Laser" It may not be a crimson trace but let me tell you you beat this thing to hell and it still works. I personally like it a lot.

  • Thank for the video I grabing my first sig and I think I am goign to like it , I have been a glock man myself but I going to check it out.

  • "lemmy take it off screen so I can put a little more mustard on it"

haha love it. Thanks for making these videos about the 2022, I've been thinking about getting that vs a few different models and you helped me come to the decision of buying one. Keep up the good work!

  • @isebankmiceelff LOL I had to let my inner dork show :) I'm glad I could help. I plan on reviewing my whole collection so stay tooned. Thanks for watching

  • This take-down is almost identical to a H&K p2000. Really not that difficult once you get used to it. Nice vid.

  • @Erh4bi Yes the added weight of the steel does help a lot with muzzle flip. It is like night and day in my opion. I have also fould a duel spring steel guid rod that i'm thinking about purchsing. It runs about 80 bucks but i think it might be worth the investment. I'll let you know if I end up getting it. And thanks for watching my vid

  • The guide rails are the most important part to lube as they take the bulk of the abuse. I will post a vid of the key points to lube for you.

  • where would you lube it up it my first fire arm and i chose this sig to be my first firearm

  • @jbarah05 I just posted a vid on how to lub the Sig Pro. Congradulations on picking an awesome pistol!! Happy shooting!
