@princessbeffer - It's a Triskelion I designed. They're commonplace in Celtic countries. My design derived from the flag of my country - The Isle of Man. And yes you're right people who are not familiar with them do mistake them for Swastikas! ;)

@DJOgmios My first thought was of those plastic widgets we used to see all the time to put in the center of a 45 RPM single so you could put it on a turntable for albums if you didn't have a device to make the spindle on the turntable larger.
