Did this motor actually arrive in neutral - all our motors ship advanced CCWDE!!!! (Oh, I see this is an older WarP 9 - still should have been advanced!) Loved the video and if alright with you I iwll link to it from the NetGain page - I get this question DAILY! BTW: I would suggest lifting the springs, raising the brushes and letting the spring rest on he side of the brush! Thanks for shooting this!
Unixtm, you are correct, the motor was shipped to us in CCWDE. After we shot the video, we tried putting the bolts back in but realized that the motor was now way advanced, so we moved the drive end back to its original position. We realized that the bolt is the actual marker for the motor position (not the terminal post which I thought). So you can see that the bolt I pulled out was in the CCWDE position in the video. You can link to this video from NetGain.
I thought it would be more work than this. I always though it would be more complicated such as opening the motor to move the brushes. It seems that Netgain motors are pretty easy to work on, I'm considering the HPEVS AC50 motor but might go DC with a Netgain for the additional power, still deciding. Thanks for posting this.
