Many critics through this scene was incredibly offensive. I found it awkward and, yes, a little disrespectful and wished the deaf choir had a chance to perform alone.

But it does highlight the theme of the episode beautifully. All the spectale, flashy moves are not beautiful and authentic. Listen to how incredibly soft New Directions are.

I know the show have good intentions for their handicapped cast, but sometimes the story execution is shaky.

if they're going to include Vocal Adreneline's songs and the recreational school's song, they should include the deaf school's song.
