@kokulink Ultimate stars is the sequel, and has more characters and online play. Ultimate Stars is missing a few things that Super Stars had, such as special combination attacks between specific characters; but I would still say that it is better.

i used to read some of the issues from this. i do have a question for those who also read it: i read a preview to a manga that interested me but i can't remember the title. it was about a girl who was in love with some guy who doesn't notice her so she talks to some weird girls who give her a love potion to give to the guy to make him love her. i would look it up but i don't have the issue with this anymore. so if someone does, please reply.

XD It's actully both. They appear in some of the volumes of Ouran High School Host Club books, as short storys about diffrent people each time. The title also changes but they all have the word Egoist in them...

Vol 1 has Egoist Club

Vol 2 has Romantic Egoist

Vol 4 has Love Egoist

Vol 7 has Please, Please Me (Still Egoist)

Vol 9 has Love or Dream (Still Egoist)

It wouldn't fit, it needs two screens, one for battle and one for the manga deck, which you need the touch screen for to activate komas. Otherwise, there would be no manga deck, which is the whole point of the game.

Its not because the licensing would be crazy. Imagine trying to get the rights to each and every Shonen Jump character EVER that appears in the game (300 o.0) it would be war trying to get all the rights for a U.S. version most of the copyright holders dont think the game will sell that well (despite how many ppl are imprting it at this very moment)

Because US never is going to get the copyrights cuz the game can be easly censored, and the creators don't want that, so they and Shonen Jump's Magazine don't gave to the US the rights

You can only get Mello and Near in Jump! Ultimate Stars..

And don't get Jump Superstars, but get Jump Ultimate Stars, it is basically the same game but you can use support komas with L and R buttons, play online, and there are way more characters..Oh and it's made by the same company.

you have to buy the higher level komas

er, no you have to beat ALL the goals in each mission. the first goal is always complete teh stage, but there are hidden goals that are like, beat it before 30 seconds or before 40. since it's in japanese, you can search some online guides. a good one is the one on gamefaqs by Genroh.

Well, some people in this game don't fight. Some are just like items (sort of). I mean, when you tap the character on the botttom screen, they come up and do an attack and disappear. For instance, the prince of tennis guy, Ryoma Echizen. I think when he came up, he would come up, slam a tennis ball and then disappear. The tennis ball would hit anyone in its way. And for otroweymas: Yugioh summons monsters and they like fight for him.

The reason why is that not all of the series featured in Jump Superstars are not licenced in America and/or that they are not Serialized in Shonen Jump USA. In other words, it won't be long until that happens.
