@MCBCCitizen brand spankin new ones will, but if you hunt around buy, sell, trade groups you'll probably be able to find a good deal! Thats actually how I got mine :)
@LongboardingUSA825 Ya this dudes not gay, im his roommate and his girlfriend is Hawt!, and I can guarantee that he shreds face harder than you ever have or will.
don't get these, get devil-reys. same as surf rodz but address all issues in them. theyre 140 for a full set or just 80 for hangars that work on baseplates from randal, paris, bear, gunmetal, and caliber.
@JarLongboarding I don't like it, I LOVE it. Absolutely my favorite free ride board I've set foot on! I can't say it enough, I want to yell it from the rooftops. If it were a human I'd marry it in a second. I LOVE THE SEEKER
im saving for surf rodz, but i cant decide whether to get trusty 50 degree or try out 45's! i dont want to spend that much on a different degree truck that ive never ridden before... idk
@xStubbyLB I have been skating the 45's but theres nothing wrong with the 50's! The 45's may take a little getting used to but its just going to be subtle differences in the way that the trucks turn, but either one will slide! If your really on the fence I would recommend the 50's because they're what you know and enjoy!
@LongboardingReview Yeah that's what I was probably going to do. Thanks for replying so fast! and this review is the best surf rodz review ive ever seen, ive watched this around 5 times just admiring those trucks.. they are my dream. I just cant decide either what color to get haha.
Would you recommend the RKP Surf Rodz 200mm 45 degree baseplate trucks if I'm gonna be riding a Rayne Mini Killswitch and a Grease Hammer? I freeride and DH. Also, if I put two barrels on the trucks, how will they feel?
@PRskater64 For the killswitch I would recommend the 45 degree plates but a hanger with the adjustable wheel extenders. If I remember correctly they can extend from 176 to 186 to 196, so you have a ton of options that you can change around and have it set up well for each board, whether it be the killswitch or the hammer
@LongboardingReview Thanks for the recommendation! Also can you please make a video of how to put the RKP Surf-Rodz together? It's because there used to be a MotionBoardShop video that showed how to put them together, but I think they removed it.
@PRskater64 As far as the baseplates and stuff go its the same as any other cast truck, you just have to wiggle it in because its so precise, but really its the same. For the axels, see 2:41 it shows how you put the wheel on the axel first, screw the axel into the hanger, and to finish off you screw in the set screws. If need be I can do a really cruddy webcam explanation on my personal channel. Let me know if you want me to and it shall be done!
What were you doing when your axles fell out? I never ride set screws on my INDeeSZ or RKPs and never have problems and haven't ever heard of anyone else having that experience.
@SkateTheEast It has happened to me a few times now, once just playing around in a basketball court waiting on a ride, and another time happened as I was free riding. Luckily I was able to run it out but the second I threw the board into a slide one of the axels fell out and sent a 3 wheeled deck rocketing down the road. I suggest you get them just in case, they're only 2 bucks and they will save cash on bandaids hahaha
@LongboardingReview Haha I appreciate it, own 'em and choose not to run 'em. I just double check to make sure my axels are all tight at the beginning of ever session (I inspect my gear at the start anyway) and never have any issues.
your damn right he's gay. he's not only gay but he is an inspiration to all gay longboarders, he is proof that we are not alone. proof that you can be an unbelievable longboarder, ridiculously sexy, and gay! god bless him!!!
@TheLongboard4lyfe No not really, in fact they are rather different hahaha. A bushing version of the Original S series truck (in my opinion) would be the Indy 215. I started off on Originals, and later found myself on Indy trucks and found that the two have very similar turning characteristics, however with the Indy's you have the advantage of messing around with bushing set ups and dialing in how your trucks feel!
@calciumandshit There is something in the works for the Seeker on the Lifelong Longboards Youtube page! Be sure to subscribe so you're the first to see it! :)
hey its me again and i got the money for these and i wanted to know what size to get (hanger length) I do mostly freeride and im gettin into downhill and i ride my trucks decently tight so does the 200 millimeter kinda feel different for free ride cause i ride gunmetals 180 so what would u think is better for me? ill have it on a rayne avenger btw
@MrBookluck 200 is defiantly on the wide end, i use it for both dh and free ride however in an ideal world i would have gotten the 176's with the axel extending system so you are able to play with the widths and figure out what feels best!
@bikeandlongboard I would look at the 175s and get the surf-rodz axel extending system so you can play around and find the width that feels right for you!
@MrBookluck hey man this is tristan (the dude reviewing, I'm on my personal channel hahaha). Ive never tried the indeesz but I was on indy 215s. That being said, traditional kingpin trucks are a lot of fun but speed can be an issue. I hit about 30mph on them and thats as fast as I was comfortable going due to the fact that traditional kingpins have no lean to turn ratio, just straight turn. I imagine indeesz are similar just more responsive which would make speed a bigger issue
aren't these like 200 bucks or something crazy though?
