@JeremyBlack92 Or Taskmaster and Spencer and yet they're popular in the game and used a lot online. Even moreso than more popular characters like Cap(pre Ultimate), Iron Man, Thor, Spider-man, Morrigan, Chun Li, and Chris. She-Hulk was also pretty prominent in the original. Then they nerfed her.

I've also ran into tons of Hawkeyes and Novas. And there were people also complaining about them getting in over more well known characters.

Awesome game, but I think they should've been wiser with their selection of characters. I always thought they should've used some of the more well-known Marvel characters even the first time around. But now the second time around they didn't really take full advantage of that. I doubt many people were dying to play as this guy. And I wouldn't call myself a real hardcore Marvel fan, at least not as much as most other fans probably are, but I've never even heard of him before.

@nepomusik Exactly. Case in point: Shuma-Gorath. No one outside the hardcore Marvel geeks knew about him until the MvsC series started. Now he's quite well known, and his popularity allowed for Dormammu and Doctor Strange to join him in 3.

On Capcom's side, Red Arremer is kinda known for being a tough mini-boss in G&G, but he's also the hero of his own series of games. Being in this will let more people find out about them.
