nice chops man, your sticks look like twigs in your hands.. when it looks like your tapping the snare it sounds like i just brought down a flam from over my head, guess being a marine'll do that to you
@MrMUSEicality It's actually a ddrum AMX (hybrid maple inner/ash outer). It was an absolute steal when they sold them years ago. Other vids show the finish off quite well. I have a full double bass kit, but chop it down to the sizes i want depending.
Wow that room sounds wonderful how big is it? I have the cad pro 7 and they never sound like this way. Another thing I am really digging the snare a nice sense of space.
@issofunky Agreed! This was a year after getting back on the saddle... 8 year hiatus started when I decided to become a recon marine. Blame myself for wasting time with axis longboards... chops came back fast, but no feel. Happy in my own skin now on my chaindrive dw 9000s. Check out my more recent vid and feel free to leave constructive criticism. Even if I am the worst drummer ever, I praise God for the ability to try and my joy in doing so... even if poorly! Thanks for watching!
@NllMA this was a 24 channel behringer mixer with effects with stereo out to USB recorded in audacity... no post processing possible that way though, since everything is only 2 channels.
@DrumsByAdisa Far right of the screen was probably a 12 or 14 inch Wuhan China... $20 on amazon. The other side is a 14 or 16 Wuhan China. Probably the best recording china sounds you can get... but maybe not the best live/in person for low volume situations. Fair warning though... they break more easily, but at that price who cares!
@liamdrummer28 CAD Pro 7 kits... i have 2 sets. They are about 3 years old now, but they do the job just fine. Feel free to bash, but I use them almost everyday in my home studio for normal practice. Wouldn't say I love them... More expensive mics can sound better, but they make my practice quite enjoyable!
