  • Man, almost 5 years later and this advice still resonates. Really inspirational stuff.

  • inspiring!

  • I've heard some of this advise before... but never from a person who believes in it- and goes by it. Great words. thanks.

  • You are a great person.

I'm an artist too and I'm not getting reconized that way like I want.

Sometimes I think it's because my drawings are not so good. But after I watched your videos I think its because I'm not making"promotion"for my art. I have a question to you. I know you are a busy person, but could you take a look at my drawings on deviantart? I really want to know what such an great artist like you would say to some of my pictures. cheezay.deviantart

(sry my english isn't the best)

  • Good work m8 and follow your dreams

  • Hey i mad a comment but i dont see it so ill sum it up. I said, IM HEre the Slacker. But im gonna take your golden advice and change. I remember how i loved drawing when i was little, i probably draw once a month. But even serious drawings, maybe once every 6 months.

  • Here i am the slacker! everything you have said is exactly what i needed, this is my first time iv'e ever heard of you, but i feel you hit the spot. It's time to turn into the successful me. And you are an excellent artist. I love to draw, but not like when i was a kid. you reminded me, of my old me, and your words are priceless. I have very little drawings, cause it takes forever for me to finish. Im jeteffects on deviant art.

  • Your videos helps me a lot.You are a great artist.Keep it up man.

  • Bobert - you are the man! Keep doing your thing here. You inspire. What a great thing to be able to know about yourself!

  • Thank your very much for responding, and I just wanted to tell you bobby that i thank you so much for doing these videos. I draw so much more then i used to because of these videos and allot of the time when I draw I just sit and listen to your videos and it fuels my passion so much. Thank you very very much, you truly deserve my praise

  • i know this really has nothing to do with anything, but i was wondering how old you are and how old were you when you started doing alot of freelance work and finally made your giant leap to freedom.

  • I started my professional career when I was 17 designing disney, pixar, starwars toys for Thinkway Toys. Worked through college. Now I'm 28. I made the leap to full time freelance about 2 years ago
