@Devilbat74 Because it's stupid, FFVII is FVII and if I were to play it today I would do it like the game was created not with some stupid mods that look ugly. Gotta respect the original product.

Thank you very much for uploading this. I have been looking everywhere for character models. I have a question though. Is there a way to change only the character battle models? I have a bunch of other mods in my battle.lgp, and I don't want to lose those. Or is there a way to tell which files, when extracted from the lgp file, make up each character? Thanks!

@Devilbat74 Well look common once you play through the game at one point the game will feel awkward as the story mixes with the ac mods etc it just doesn't feel right what i did was just extract yuffie battle model only as i do not have the hq model for that yet and deleted the rest if you want nice looking models but except the ac mod i recommend you goto qhimm forums (google it) they got a nice model package but based on original style have a look.

@Devilbat74 yeah new modern pc graphic heavy games etc will heat up your pc fast but this game is way lighter than them this was made in 1998 just slightly improved graphics that's all, but ok cool :)

@E1SUNZ I would suggest the Menu overhaul with this game. I have the ffX battle UI for my game and it feels like a fully different game. Not to mention the full sized characters.

@301SO i have the menu overhaul i chose the ff9 battle ui looks pretty good on my game i put nearly all mods available especially the full sized characters but not the phoenix rejuvination project but "rebuilded models" by squallff8 which looks superb

@301SO i just don't get why people would want to convert it to field it just stands out since hes textured and others are made of polygons but anyways good lick with the convert requires some hard work :/

@E1SUNZ actually he doesnt on my one because I have high textured npc's and main characters. In fact just having the main characters stand out gives more importance to them. Personally it's not hard converting, just time consuming but yeah man ff7 ftw

Soup breh. Just thought you might want to know, you didn't have to repack the lgp files to get rid of the errors. All you have to do is open the ff7_opengl.cfg and add this line to the bottom of it.

"disable_popup = yes"

It will get rid of all the error messages, leaving you with a smooth play of the game.

Yeah I fixed the Barret Problem so he is replaced competely. As far as those errors I just turned them off.

Wow. Barret looks RIDICULOUSLY terrible. And he punches while the shooting effects are still there. Cloud looks bad ass, though.
