  • @vitaness1 it's a joke

  • I love this song!

  • this guy is amazing! the song gives me goosebumps!

  • because his main language is cantonese!

  • I saw him sing live at his 1/2 Century Concert in October ! His live performance is really good! Today's singers can't compare ...

  • he sounds so hot live!!

  • 46 people only sing gee gee gee gee

  • 46 people must be born in the k-pop generation.

  • This song really feel comfortable no matter in what situation to listened ^^ Love It

  • does anyone know if theres mandarin version of this? I'd like to do it for my school's Mandarin singing competition.

  • and LONG LIVE JACKY DOMINANCE!!

  • I I feel ashamed for singers since the 90s... they are just not up to standard...maybe that's why they lowered it sooo much . They don't have that special voice to be a REAL artist or they sing like half their air supply have been cut off.. The only ones that are popular are ones that make have catchy tunes from good composing NOT singing. I am from this generation and it's SO SAD I have to look up old videos so my ears don't bleed or fall off from boredom

  • Music back then was amazing. Todays music doesn't even compare.

  • I'm an American born Chinese and my Cantonese is poor. I really wished I went to Chinese school and learned more Chinese to understand ALL of this. Although I don't half the words he is singing, I admire his singing because it's simply amazing. Amazing song.

  • its one of those songs and singers that no matter how much and how long you listen to, YOU never get sick of his songs, growing up with his songs really made me love music even more. He is a Song God, his voice amazing...........

  • I was thinking of playing this song at my wedding this year.

  • i came to this page to favorite and like this song!!! :D

  • I was named after this guy! :D

  • @JustCommentOkay I would also name my son after him if I HAD a son.. ^_^

  • @JustCommentOkay is he your dad?

  • @MrTweetyhack What do you mean? My dad named me after Jacky.

  • @JustCommentOkay I'm joking, because of the way you said it, I read it to mean he might be your dad. I've got a twisted mind. Don't mind me.

  • I love Chinese music and I'm learning mandarin, but I'm eager to understand the lyrics. Is anybody out there willing to share a link with translations?

  • omg so handsome still! asian don't crack! love him!!!

  • A slight correction to my previous post to AsianDynamite.

Jacky actually won the Hong Kong singing competition in 1984, not 1985

and he released his first record in 1985, not 1986. My apologies.

  • I feel so lucky that I am not born in this new generation else I would probably be listening to KPOP or R&B all day. Sure today's music is cool, funky and have a lot more variation other then cheesy love songs but non really has an impact unlike the 90s where we have many timeless classics which many of them comes from Jackie Cheung.

  • @k80sg I´m 21 yrs old. And I´m listening to Kpop all the time like the rest of the "youngsters" these days... but my classical music is this old cantopop-singers... Actually I grew up listening to Jacky Cheung etc.. lol.... thanks to my mom...

  • qua hay di

  • @hongvan1008 To you maybe, but not to other true music lovers who know how to appreciate good music.

A legendary singer and a classic hit will always stand the test of time! Your so-called 'hay' just doesn't come

into the equation as far as good music is concerned!

  • At who is he pointing all the time?

  • love this song <3

  • Such a good song <3333 Some guy sang it better than him though o_o

  • i only understand that last part what he is singing even i am cantonese -__-

  • 我很喜欢!很好听啊!

  • would be a

nice song for my wedding day

  • great song man. keep it gangsta!!!!

  • MY GRAND MA LOVES THIS SONG

  • My favorite is Jackie Chan, Jacky Cheung , Ah lam, And Teresa Teng.

  • fave chinese artist :DDD thumbs up !

  • haha... i still picture him as the magic monk dude in chinese ghost story II, III .....

  • FUCK TAIWANESE! ALL ABOUT HONG KONG!

  • This will make a good wedding song.

  • man his songs are DA BOMB!!! I grew up listening to him toooo :) because i watch chinese movies and they usually play his songs in the background.

  • 王傑唱的比他更好... Dave Wang became famous in 1988, which is years before Jacky Cheung. 王傑 is the real No.1...

  • @AsianDynamite

are u crazy man....jacky is much better than him...he´s not only better than him...he is the best cantonese singer eva

  • @MrSean330 No, I'm not crazy... I truly enjoying Dave Wang's music, because he can write good songs and play musical instruments very well.

  • @AsianDynamite

well, he might be the better musician...but jacky is absolutely the best hk singer ever!!!1

  • @AsianDynamite Dave Wang became famous in 1988 (that's what you said), Jacky released his first record before that (in 1986 I think after he won the HK singing competition in 1985) and it's an instant hit! Please get your facts right before you jumped to conclusion. Who is the real No. 1 depends on the popularity and longevity of the singer. In this case, Jacky has proven himself to be the real winner! I used to like Dave in his hey days but his current performance is disappointing!

  • @ozalice96 張學友 became super famous in 1991 in HK, 1992 in Taiwan, which is after 王傑's prime era from 1988 to 1993. Please don't take this personally, everybody got their own peference and points of view. No need to be offensive.

  • @AsianDynamite I appreciate that different people have different preferences and different points of view. What prompted me to respond to your post is your 'interesting' logic. According to you, the person who deserves to be Number 1 is the one who became famous first irrespective of his actual popularity or longevity. I find this yardstick rather incredulous! Don't get me wrong. Dave had once been a good singer in his own right. However, he paled in comparison to Jacky now!

  • @ozalice96 Dave Wang is NO.1 to me. AND HIS ACCUMULATIVE TOTAL ALBUMS SELLING RECORD IS IN FACT NO.1 AMOUNT ALL MALE SINGERS. This is fact rather than just my opinion. No need to compare anymore, and stop argue with me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

  • @AsianDynamite Fair enough, Dave Wang is No. 1 'to you'. I respect that because that is your preference. But regarding the album sales, may I ask in which country are you talking about, what is the exact figures and from which year to which year? If this is a fact, you should be able to provide more information rather than just claiming it. I'm not arguing with you. I'm merely expressing my own point of view like you do.

  • @ozalice96 In terms of total album sales, when I said "ACCUMULATIVE", I meant ALL albums they made in their careers (From the 1st to the last album, both Mandarin & Cantonese). It includes total sales world-wide. I got this information from aTaiwanese music documentary. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact number. All I know is Dave Wang's first Mandarin album was sold 1 million WORLD-WIDE.

  • @AsianDynamite Jacky won the 'Best-selling Asian Artist Award' in the World Music Award in 1995 and 1996 and he's the first Chinese singer to have a concert in Madison Square Garden in New York. You can check the facts in his Wikipedia page. I did look at Dave's Wiki page as well and with all due respect, it doesn't look as impressive as Jacky's. Anyway, it doesn't really matter. Dave is still your No. 1 and Jacky is still the No. 1 to me and lots of other people. Let's agree to disagree!

  • @ozalice96 I went to Jacky Cheung's concert in Madison Square Garden in New York in 1995. His performance was amazing. Over 3 hour non-stop singing and dancing. The year of 1995 and 1996 was Jacky Cheung's peak time, which he made a whole lot of money. Whereas Dave Wang used to be the best singer from the year of 1988 to 1992. Dave Wang didn't do well since 1993 after he remarried. Jacky Cheung became the undesputable best singer after Dave Wang went down hills. It sound right?

  • @AsianDynamite Thank you for being a REAL MAN and speaks the truth. I really appreciate it! What I want you to know is, I have nothing against Dave Wang and he's a great singer too. I don't own CDs of any singers who can't sing. The fact that I own several of his CDs proved that I did like him. It's unfortunate with Dave that he has problems with his vocal which affected his singing. I sincerely hope that he can sort out his problems and be successful once again!

  • love this song:]

  • wow I first saw this video when it had about 700 000 views, and now it's up to a million O_O

  • Wow, awesome Jacky!

  • aww, I grew up listening to him :) his songs never get old to me XDDD I especially love this one too :D

  • He is singing whatever I'm facing.

  • the first song i ever learnt to sing in chinese.. and still do sing it now and again! not bad considering i am a white guy! lol Just love this song!!

  • daym ... i may not be chinese to understand ... but his voice and all his music and all the 4 kings during the 90"s was the music i've always listen to ... thanks to the people who loves their music and translate into american/viet ... but other than that ... i've always been into korean .. jap and chinese songs since i was born ...

  • What did he say at the end where people went "Ahhhhh"?

  • @yoh7351

The first line wasn't that clear to me so yea...

Jacky said he got this one song that was well prepared but he hardly performed it before and he's about to perform it now so that everyone can enjoy it. The audience said, "Yes" and it sounded like, "Ahhhh" the one that you heard of I guess lol....

  • One of the best Cantonse SONG EVER!!

  • Ah, the song that made Jacky famous.

  • I'm Cantonese, but I have no idea about what he's singing LOL. Love the song though (:

  • @xMustachee

  • listening to jacky cheng song will never grow old & be old unless who or some 1 don't like his songs anymore then that person will be old

  • @larrainewong wat r u talking about?

  • more cantonese songs :)

    less mandarin songs...

  • I really want to attend one of his concerts..

  • cantopop ftw

  • do any other BBC who grew up with songs like this find that it hard to listen to the new up coming singers of HK? my ex China chick tried to update me with the new breed of singers and they were pap. I still like the slow romantic cheese

  • Like this if you grew up listening to Jacky Cheung, and Andy Lau!

  • Jacky just puts us all to shame. Maybe one day the western world and non-Asians will know of his greatness.

  • @AuspiciousNight: Many of us 'westerners' are listening.....and trying to get to Hong Kong, China, Korea and Japan, too - as fast as we can work it out to do so. :oD

  • Geez, 38 people hate God's gift to the music industry

  • Wow. I grew up with this song. It's been over ten years and it's feels like I'm listening to this for the first time.
