The non-believers in Canada are either Atheists or non-Christian-Theists, and of those two most of the Atheists look at Canadian-Christmas as a generally secular celebration.

The non-Christian-Theists however do find it awkward.

I'm atheist, I love the "holiday" tree. I enjoy the whole season, but we celebrate the winter solstice (as being a day of peace, reflexion, love) much more than christmas day...other than santa claus coming to town. Atheists shouldn't feel offended, but this bill donohue is a bigoted asshole.
