  • I love the thompson!

Please get somebody that knows how to handle a firearm. If you turn around in that way in any firing range you are going to get your arse kicked so bad that you would be crying for a week. Learn gun discipline moron.

  • @sandrozeb

  • 0:17 he might be playing MW2 too much...gun goes UP...DOWN...UP....DOWN....UP

  • I prefer the older 1920's Thompsons ;)

  • calibro sounds like a racing car^^

  • 45. is more inaccurate that 9 mm, i saw in tv a documentary about ww2, where old Veterans americans told that germans soldiers has weapons lighter and small of their, but very accurate e dangerous, practically they admitted the superiority in war and not in an internet blog of 9 mm on the 45.

However, today the 45. in war is no longer used while 9 mm has a large use.

  • @Stazzo82 Accurate or not, it depends on the twist barrel of the gun and the shooter..45 have more stopping power than 9m and more penetration power.

  • Wrong the ,45 acp its alot of more effectived today because is able to pierce a body armor not like the 9mm shit

  • @11251309 .45 ain't being able to penetrate, but in full auto they took several mags for those body armor. 9mm is too light, mostly the 120 grain were used instead.

  • i hate how u shoulder the thompson

it makes u reach over alot

  • @Dimwooo its so the recoil doesnt push u too far back and allows you too fire mnore rounds accurately.

  • @jakeman121acdc well sure but still i feel less.... maneuverable...wen i shoulder it...

  • what are you, stupid? No real guns get below 1000 fps, even with subsonic ammo. Guns usually get like 2500-3000 fps.

  • Actually thats not completely true. For example .45 ACP rounds can range in the 1250-750 FPS range depending on the bullet type and weight.

  • just a friendly suggestion: do a little more research.

  • there are airsofts that fast too lol theyre rare tho

  • I love that gun.

  • okay thompson is american so it wins

  • dude just because the weapon is american it doesn't mean it is better than the rest'

  • it feels like a real gun when you hold it and when you shoot it. they are a beautiful firearm as well.

  • This guy don't know shit about range rules

  • how so

  • @kronus513 why?

  • @TheBelva85 you're not supposed to turn around and hold the damn gun facing the shooting range host. He was just spinning around and shit and being an idiot.

  • what if you take off the stock and fire it?

  • it flys around

  • What was that? a 20-rounder then a 30? I tried counting but its WAY too fast. The first clip sounded more like a 10-15 rounder lol Wouldn't want to be on the business end of that. Makes me feel bad for the nazis haha

  • well the MP40 was better than the Thompson, But I always prefer the Tommy gun :)

  • First, the MP40 was lighter, and more accurate, very low recoil. plus the MP40 was accurate on around 200 meters, and the Thompson only 50.

  • Most pistols are accurate to 50 meters. SMGs are much more accurate than pistols. They are in my experience anyways. Personally I highly doubt a 9mm can out shoot a .45. I wouldn't know, the only SMG I've shot is the H&K UMP. I find, though, that an M1911-A1 is more accurate than the Glock 17. The MP40 is indeed lighter though and MUCH lower recoil. With the collapsible stock it is also more compact. But the Thompson has a faster RPM and stronger round. I'd trust a .45 to stop an enemy quicker.

  • true but the tompson fired a big round and it was fired from an open bolt witch means higher recoil thats why its accurate range is only 50 meter but bullet flies much further. mp40 had double the range than tompson but needed more rounds to kill an enemy

  • I kinda cheated here, used wikipedia. I only just discovered what open bolt and closed bolt meant a few weeks ago, so I gotta study up on which of the older SMGs use closed and open bolt lol but the M1A1 used a closed bolt, and the MP40 used an open bolt. The 9mm round does have more speed thus more range, but the small bullet could veer off more than the bulkier .45 round. As for accuracy, the Thompson had a longer barrel and thicker bullet, I would put my money on that one. MP40 wins range.

  • *continuing from the last post... damn 500 letter limit lol* When I say range, I mean how far the bullet can fly. As for effective range, the full auto thompson isn't NEARLY as controllable as the MP40. But the M1A1 Thompson can also be switched to semi auto, which the MP40 couldn't do. So I would say with the Thompson in semi auto, that greatly increases it's effective range under rapid fire. If both guns were to be shot slowly, counting on accuracy rather than speed... I'd go with the M1A1.

  • m1A1 shoots also from an open bolt:)

  • The mp 40 could go up to 200 meters and is a medium range weapon right?

  • yup sni moeilijk eh:p kzen nen belg dus:p

  • yes this is true because the mp40 use the 9mm parabellum buy the thompson use the .45 acp more dangerous then a 9mm.

  • No the mp 40 was accurate around 100 meters!

  • How much do the Mp40 fps?

  • FPS? I am italian

  • The MP40 shoots at around 500 FPS

  • Maybe RPM, "rounds per minute", but not FPS. There wouldn't be enough energy to cycle the action with such a light load.

  • oops, typo. I meant RPM :p

  • @m1garand44 50 THE SHIT , YOU FUCKER ASSHOLE!!!!!

MP40 only accurate at 100 meter.

  • in the DoD few people use this weapon, you need to know to use it but it should be noted with short bursts to the head, especially in short distance where it is better firepower thompson Cartridge...

  • @hermosotealonso day of defeat?

  • great game by Steam, search in google: Day of Defeat Source and enjoy!

  • @m1garand44 you are considerng both weapons in fully auto, due to the lower rate of fire and less powered ammo, the mp40 was very accurated an controlable in fully automatic far more than the thompson, but in single fire, the thompson was more a little bit more accurated than the mp40, but the ballisctic performance of the .45 round reduced its affective range drsticaly, any way the thompson has mores stopping power at close range, ideal for a smg. (mp40 stills better for me)

  • @m1garand44 50 ma' ass! I tried the Thompson on a man-size paper target at 100 meters, and I had the worst grouping for only 3 inches! All shots hit around the torso! What in fuck's name make you think that the Thompson so shortly effective? Wikipedia or some shit? I tried with an M1928A1 Thompson, not an M1A1, not an M1. And plus one more, the MP-40 jams like fucks.

  • @m1garand44

    how do you figure?

    .45 vs 9mm

    900+ rpm vs 500 rpm

sure the schmeisser had it on accuracy, but it didnt have the stopping or clearing power that the Thompson had

  • @bretona And penetration. Thompson is best at the penetration through combat element.

  • @m1garand44

No thompson is better, WAY more firepower

  • sweet m1a1!!

    fav smg

    nice handling

  • Much higher rate of fire then I thought it would have.
