pistol crossbow shooting on random objects

I just got one, what's the trick in hooking the string onto the cross bow, mine is super stiff and I can not get the bow bend far enough to loop the draw tring onto the bow by myself. I have not seen any review that gives tip on this.

Ik heb een 80 lb cobra pistol crossbow gekocht,(vandaag) ,aluminium en met alu pijltjes,ik heb ook geprobeerd met ijzer bolletjes te schieten en het lukt perfect,zaterdag/tem/zaterdag ga ik op konijn

I have one too. Just think if it does that to glass, what it would do to a human or attacking animal at close range. Yikes. But it is a great quiet selfdefense item to have. But I hear that they are illeagal to have in NY.

@pistolcrossbow My friends used to live in NY and he was the on ethat said they were illegal to have in your car. Ive not done my research to see if that is all the way true but it is a nice quiet defence machine. The gun law is very strict. You have to pay 350$ a year for each gun you have and to keep it registered.

@TheAstroble they are illegal in NY, or places state "illegal to ship to NY or NYC" but I have ordered black powder guns and crossbows from places that say this and the companies usually ship the item anyway and I live in Brooklyn NY. If a place refuses to send it just purchase somewhere else

I have had this for 2 years and shoot it pretty frequently works really well! I would suggest getting metal and plastic arrows though. Plastic for shooting targets and metal for hunting

hij is wel goed hoor ik heb hem nog steeds niet kapot behalve het laden is een beetje ieritant als je het steeds moet doen.

@rowanboertien ho lang duurt het voor dat die pees stuk is? paar shoten of een stuk of 1000? als hij na een paar keer schieten al kapot is dan zit er misschien ergens een scherp randje op die baan waar de pees over heen gaat als je schiet. als je ''droog'' schiet (zonder een pijltje schieten) dan gaat hij ook snel kapot. je kan ook pees wax (soort vet) kopen, dan gaat hij ook langer mee, en als je met van die goedkope plastic pijltjes schiet kan je beter die van aluminium nemem ;)

@smpboy it,s pretty safe, i always tell it to everyone who,s in my house so they know im shooting and the also know because there is a shooting range (i clean everything up after shooting, so the shooting range goes away after shooting) and there is a noisy stairs on the side of the range so i hear it when people are comming upstairs ;) so it,s very safe ;)

I'm looking to buy this crossbow and was wondering if it could be used of eliminating roosters? i've got some wild roosters next door that are noisy and thought a crossbow would be an effective deterrent to their obnoxious caws. Anyhow, nice video, looks like fun! Cant wait!!! lol

@mobiyob i think it will kill the roosters with a shot in the head or stumach if they are in 15 meters from the crossbow but if they are to far away (20meter or futher) you will need somthing bigger :D
