J adore cette version, je l ai trouvé nulle part !!!! Quelqu un aurait il cette partition pour moi ? Merci d' avance mon e mail: jerometurpin@hotmail.fr
Those "long"tones of what you could call the melody strike me much more on instruments can keep sustained notes. It brings more tension. This song sounds much better on violin/organ/orchestra I think.
don't get me wrong..it's great to hear it on the piano. I like listening to pieces that are played on other instruemnts than the original. keeps its frech. By the way, I'm looking for the chords of this song, just to look how it's contructed. I can not read notes, so i'd like to see them on a piano being played. Most versions i see on youtube do not actually play the full chord (mostly just root) . I compose for fun, so classical chord progressions are intersting for me. Please reply
Your hand fits well with steinway and sons...Beautiful couple in the making. Ijust hope i can play as good as you do, im really struggling to perfect this piece too bad i wasnt raised in with a piano and a highly capable mentor, . too bad i wasnt raised in with a piano and a highly capable mentor,
Hi Winterheart00, I have just read your comment and I decided to write 2 u n I hope it`ll help u to carry on wit ur playin.
I am Brazilian and like u I did`n have the opportunity 2 study never had a piano in my life so FAR ( one day I will have my own piano ) n couldnt afford my studies...
Today, I am in London tryin to get in the university here ( as u could notice English is not my 1st language ) it has been a long journey bt cos I didn give up I might study this year or next
I am not an open person ... ... I know there are loads of things I could tell u ... ... times that I thought 2 give up.. .... and etcs... it doesn`t matter how well u play. when u play please enjoy it... ...
If I can somehow help u to develop ur skills I will. If u want some tips, I am just ask.
Well a song like this is a level 5 or 6-this would take me around 2 weeks-a month. I'm a fast learner, and right now I'm practicing The Music Box by Anatol Liadov, and three of Chopin's Mazurka's.
good job! i'm not a fan of air on the piano, its missing some of the viola part, and i play the viola and were playing this in orchestra, so i gasp when i see my part isnt fully covered :O
I agree! But then again, I only have two hands, and ten fingers. Unless I was playing this on an organ (and using my feet for the bass lines), there is simply no way to fully "cover" this piece on the piano. This as close as I could get ;)
I love Bach. And you play it very well, like it has to sound...fluid,elegant and soft, full of harmony.
Altough Bach had a very mathematically, for me also a logical kind of music ( i play violine), it is very hard to play it in the right way.
I`m often getting strange listening to Bach.....He was a real Genious!...Such harmony which seems beeing so easy in one way and in the other having such a complexity in it.....JUST GREAT !
heyy bitch i do speak french im fluent in that as well as 4 other languages, im just a little rusty because i havn't spoken it in 3 years, i was also taught in american schools so it will ever be as good or as correct as someone who has spoken it forever. Don't be an ass hole
whoa, relax ppl! I wouldn't want to debate whether or not you are fluent in French, cheerbabe8790, because it serves no purpose. However, I too have studied French and must admit that your syntax looks nothing like that of a native or fluent speaker of French.
But nonetheless, what difference does it make if you are fluent or not? Does it alter your ability to listen to these recordings and enjoy them? Absolutely not! That's why I don't see why user The21122012 is complaining so much.
you are correct lol it doesnt make any difference however i am aware the sytax and the gramatics are probably not correct, as i said its been roughly three years since i have tried to write it, but i do speak it which is of course different. with that said it really isnt a big deal if THE211122012 believe me, i do enjoy this music and it it is very beautifully played.
I also wouldn't mind knowing where you got that arrangement. the only one I have in low grade shit, someone gave me a "late intermediate" book.... it's more like early intermediate.... maybe
Odd as it might sound to the less observant, but watching the combination of mathematical relationships involved in producing that harmonisation is, to me, some proof of the design of the universe and of the existence of God. I know I'm not the first to say any of the above, but as a practising Roman Catholic I really do take great pleasure from seeing that Descartes, Spinoza, Newton, Einstein and others were truly on to something with their reliance on pattern and form as a route to the Eternal.
Thanks for tuning in! I really don't want to offend you in any way, but I completely disagree with you about the idea of intelligent design. I definitely agree that the intricate, mathematical relationships hidden in Bach's music is nothing short of mind-boggling. And I would even say I sometimes have near religious experiences when listening to his music, but to me, that does not necessarily signify a God behind it all. So the experience is the same, but the explanations are different ;)
No offense taken! I was merely thinking aloud. But I find it interesting that when one interacts with the aforesaid and hereto mentioned mathematical patterns of musical harmony one does indeed have a form of spiritual experience!
Just as, a man like me would suppose, God had intended it!
It could all just be random atoms but better men than me would be able to tell you why it isn't. Aquinas is a good start. Kierkegaard speaks of doubt informing a good faith. I like Kierkegaard.
I agree. I too like Kierkegaard, and Heidegger and May too for that matter. But what little I've read of them has mainly revolved around the psychological aspects of existentialism (I'm a psych grad student). What really appeals to me is the romantic, mystical, spiritual (call it what you will) aspects of the human predicaments, and you'll find similar thoughts even in Weber's works. This world is DIRE need of a little spiritualism and even re-mystification.
Still, I believe in the evidence presented to me by modern science. I just share your interest for the virtually inexplicable features of the human existence, and expecially what is going on inside of our minds, ie how we perceive everything that surrounds us, and how we try to make sense of it all.
My compliments for this exquisite and talented version of this piece. Bravo. I have a request, can you play the Busoni transcription of Bach's Wachet Auf ruft Uns Die Stimme BWV 645? I think that would be marvellous!
I love your playing. Ever after so long, I still come back to this video and listen to it as a background music while I do other thing. Very calming and peaceful. =}
yeah. one of the rare musicians on youtube, who have the courage to play slow. The most musians are playing pieces like this too fast, because they want to hide any feelings.
