This is indeed a very very good movie i think it's because we all can relate in some shape or form. The fact that we think about our first realization, first encounter with being who we really are and wondering if it's right or wrong. this is the best gay film I have ever seen! it even beats broken hearts club, and i think brokeback mountain! This movie really made me feel that love really is possible within the gay community, and it can be as spontaneous as this. I totally related to this movie in my coming out just last year. :)

Saw this movie yesterday (and again today) - It's amazing! I watched it at the Here! TV website - $7.95 for 1 month to watch it online whenever I want - enough to get me through until I can buy it May 27th.

I saw Shelter in of all places, Birmingham, AL - I drove from Atlanta. The trip was well worth it. What is remarkable about this film is that it is unremarkable in the best way. It is a gay-themed dramatic love story where the couple must focus on merging their lives - family, friends, home. They're not tragic victims or queeny stereotypes. At last. Kudos to the cast and crew for a great script, pitch perfect performances, and great production quality.

I want to see this movie (as a straight woman) because finally, here are 2 men together that don't make me cringe. The story line (considering its a gay movie) is original and moving, not the usual effeminate horsecrap that constitutes 'gay movies'. I hope this marks the beginning of a more adult and mature genre of Gay movies. God knows its taken long enough.

Kudos to the wirters and directors and producers and especially the actors. A job well done.
