While it does get kind of noisy when the wind kicks in, the video quality is great. Very stable. Does this unit have an external mic available that you can put inside your helmet?
It's also noisy because I removed a rubber sealant piece in the housing to test for better sound. Sound is better but so is the wind noise. There are no extra attachments for mics or anything else. The plastic housing fully seals the camera and that's how the camera can go underwater. It's a bare minimalist camera which cuts cost.
Thats a nice camera angle. But you should put it a little higher and facing down a little more so we see over the windscreen yet still see the road below the gauges and stuff which is cool around the turns.
I agree, a higher angle would show the road more. The only problem would be that the camera would have to pretty much be in my face to get the angle right. I have an old helmet that I'm planning on sticking mounts to. So perhaps that would work better.
