@unknowsniper14 The circumstances vary from situation to situation as far as the scanner goes. But as a rule of thumb, in my area (and in most) it's totally illegal to drive on public roads with the scanner on. Although Kitt looks nothing like a cop car......they say the light can be mistaken for an emergency light on a passing vehicle. I've had issues a long time ago driving with it on......but again.....it really depends. I've made friends many cops in the area, and that helps too. :-)

I did this by attaching a programmable siren to the alarm system. Then uploading the appropriate sound files via my computer. The multiple kill switches shut off my fuel pump, coil, and starter. Without finding, and switching on the right switches in the car, you'll never get him moving. :-)

@kennu7776 I now have the ability to dim down the dash LEDs if I need too. At times on a dark road they can become a wee bit overbearing......but since this video, many features and "safety" enhancements have been added to the dash for night time driving. :-)

The only way I know you can get away with driving with the novelty plate is if you're in a parade or a private function. And from what I've seen....KNIGHT is a very hard plate to get in any of the 50 states. :-)

Um...how well do you know Trans Ams? My car is as solid as a rock. It represents a fully restored 84/85 conversion Trans Am Knight RIder Kitt with 350,000 miles on him. I'd say he's holding together very well thank you. :) Don't knock the steering until you try it.
