The game itself is free roam. You can go anywhere on Arkham Island, inside the Asylum, outside on the grass and underneath to get to your secret Batcave. The demo on the other hand isn't free roam.

I played this game over and over at gamestop. There is a bunch of countering and dodgin you have to do in the game. I think more likely that the strategy involved in the game is really in the story mode.

This is only a demo. If you watch other official gameplay videos, you will see that stealth plays just as big a role, if not bigger, in this game.

Exactly. We still haven't seen the Batarang (which you can control in first person), the explosive gel, the stealth aspect of the gameplay, the unlockables, etc. I heard the enemies scale as Batman gains more experience, ensuring a fair challenge.

You can use the Batarang in the demo, but I didn't use it too much, I didn't really give myself the opportunity to do so. The counters were just too cool.

this is a demo for one of the challenge rooms so its not the main campaign, so those saying it looks repetitive, these are bonus gameplay elements added to the game so u have reason to keep playing. honestly i think the challenge rooms looks sweet, especially the silent knight challenges :) thanks for puttin this up

so I played it on Extreme difficulty..which wasn't even hard..but it was a lot more fun. at the start one of the enemies went over to this gun case, grabbed an assault rifle and started shooting at me..which was fuckin' awesome!!
