if ur a beginer, wantin to play Mraz, i really recomend the 'Yamaha F310' .. get one second hand for probs around 50 - 60 quid hopefully and for the money, they have such a nice sound - really nice. . .theres my advice :) gooood luck! =D peace - Steve

You should really try out "I'm Yours" - Jason Mraz. It's an uke tune, but your voice would be great with it.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! The 2nd and 4th chord shapes are ones that Mraz uses a lot. Try 8X778X and 6X556X. Incidentally, The 4 verse chords are the same as Curbside Prophet.

nice try... honestly. i sang that song once live on boy i was sweating, cuz it's so hard to do. 2 things i'd add to your playing...

1. on that Bflat in the verse walk the bass down to the a , or play an am7 bar (funky one..)

2. let those strings ring a lil more not mute the whole song.. play with the muting a bit. some times more and at some parts no muting.. it let's the song live a bit more....

haha...it's cool. Those are just some of my favorite jason mraz songs. And do you know why alot of my videos are getting posted with the audio not synced. And to reply about my song...I don't have a melody, and I may not even know what that means...but that's all of the song there is. I also have a really erie chord I play all the time. If you can help me out with a melody let me know later.

I don't know why the audio and video get out of sync, but I've found that uploading it in m4v format doesn't give me that problem. I use quicktime to do the conversion, and I just go to export -> save for ipod. I could help you come up with a melody, and you're pretty good with words, so next time you're in town, let's get together and work on it.
