  • Its your opinion but Im pretty sure that Anthony Gatto ist the best juggler ;-)

  • by now i think so too. i think the qualifying runs of 8 club fountain finally convinced me.

    watch?v=riyqrC1qrZ8 <---- 8 clubs 16 catches

and then the long runs of 9 ring cascade are also something dietz seems unable to do.

  • yeah anthony gatto has got to be the best juggler in the world

  • oh and keep up the good work i wanna see some videos of u doing 4 and 5 balls! i only learnt 4 balls in January 2008 and now it is april 2008 and i have qualified 5 and 6 balls and i believe u can do them too :) hope to see you in the future maybe at a convention :)

  • brucey: no 5-ball cascade yet.

but i can do some 5-ball split multiplex juggling, like 5-ball split multiplex false shower, 5-ball split multiplex mills mess and half mess. and im also working on 4-ball mills mess. but somehow 5-ball split multiplex mills mess appears to be much easier than 4-ball mills mess.

  • wow dude they are some awsome 5 ball tricks!

i am also working on 4 ball mills mess and i have to say it is quite difficult so good luck with it :)

and dont give up on the 5 ball cascade :)

  • brucey: yeah, i love those patterns. and few people do this split multiplex stuff, in fact you see it very rarely, split multiplex is very often used to get into 4 or 5-ball mills mess, but only as a transition. the really good jugglers, like dietz, just ignore those patterns and try to learn 645-mess or 6-ball mills mess, ive even seen thomas dietz try 756- mills mess, which is, of course, by far more difficult than any of this beautiful split multiplex stuff.

  • but i like those patterns, because im just not good enough for a normal 5-ball mills mess, cant even do 5-ball cascade, and the multiplex-stuff is manageable for me, i can do it, and if i manage to get the transitions stable, then i can do some nice 5-ball juggling, even if i cannot yet do the cascade.

but no, i wont give up on it, ill do the 5-ball cascade sooner or later, im regularly practising 55550 from 4-ball fountain and stuff like that, to prepare myself.

  • You know what really helped me to learn the 5 ball mess. Flashing. If you can learn to flash three really fast in mid pattern it makes the whole thing alot easier. Also it'll help turn your half shower to a full shower. I also noticed that if i did a 5b mess and then did a 4b my 4 was horrible and if i switched back to 5 my five was really bad... Anyway just a mention If you want to see what I mean i'll post a video in a few days and show you. Just ask.

  • randompelt:

well, the problem is, i cant do the 5-ball cascade yet. but i used the method you describe to start learning 4-ball mills mess, almost stable now.

5 ball split multiplex mess is something completely different, much easier than normal 5-ball mills mess, it will take me maybe 2 more years to learn 5-ball cascade and eventually mills mess, and i can already do the split multiplex variant. its like a 3-ball mills mess with two additional balls and twice the amount of catches.

  • cool dude have u heard of Olga and Vova Galchenko??? lol and has anybody ever told you that you look like the hippy "NEIL" off of a programme called the young ones? lol the actors name is Nigel Planner but u have a great point about conventions they fooking rule! i went to my first ever one last week and just to be with people that are as relaxed as they are and soo nice to be with and to be able to talk to anyone and ask anyone for advice or even give advice is just amazing :) keep it up :)

  • Sexy^^ And juggling is cool too:P

  • I'm fairly sure that Gatto is considered to be the all-around greatest, most consistent juggler. But the the greatest low numbers juggler is, I think, Falco.

  • judging from all the videos i know, thomas dietz seems to be better. but maybe thats just because his videos are much better.

watch?v=jARWgntJmB0 look at this 6-ball routine and tell me what you think.

but maybe im biased, because i watched thomas dietz practising 5 clubs for a few hours on a convention.

  • check out ori roth - behind the back stuff is awesome. Thanks for recommanding the Toby Walker vid - hadn'´t heard of him. peace out

  • ori roth has some interesting patterns :)

but practising body-throws is so exhausting, i might give it a try sometime in the future, but for now ill keep practising normal 4-ball patterns.

  • check mine out

  • juggling is really sweet!! and pretty hard too!! I am managing to get 3 balls pretty well, but I still mess up sometimes!! :P oh well!! nice video!!

  • Thanks for your positive words.

  • you should make more videos :)

i really like the video you have, but its just one video. what about 4 or more balls, clubs, or a contact-juggling video?

  • I'm going to make a new 3ball video soon..

  • I have some juggling videos, and contact juggling videos too. Watch, rate and comment if you want to.

  • Juggling seems magical to those who don't juggle. Funny, I've never really tried to do it.

  • I ahve to check these vids out. I can already juggle 3 balls, I'll get to work on it!

  • Cool! I think I'm going to start juggling right now, it looks soooo fucking awsome! great vid, thanks :)

  • 2 months later:

    how's the juggling going?

  • oh, i somehow missed your comment (didnt get an email)...

im still practising every day, slowly working my way up to the 5-ball cascade, but i also practise a lot of different 3-ball and 4-ball patterns. im currently practising the 552-pattern with 4 balls and the transitions between the siteswap and the fountain, 3 balls overhead, box, clawed, boston mess.
