Those emails aren't from real Christians and it is sad that some of you probably think that is how Christians are - no follower of Christ would say those things because Jesus taught explicitly that you love even your enemies, and I wouldn't even consider Richard an enemy although his life-views are quite distasteful. Anyone can claim to be a Christian, it's their actions that prove it.

To be a follower of Christ means to obey his commands and live in his footsteps. @SjoerdWesternborg We discover things and decide what theory it should be and how things should appear. E.g. the big bang theory, mainly made by observation. Faith, on the other hand, is not blind as many people think. I don't have room to put up evidence for what I believe. Yet I believe in a God that reveals Himself to me who has a small brain with little knowledge. I believe in the Bible and there are number of evidences that are proven by Science itself that the Bible is true.

Agreed some of the mail comes from the other two Abrahamic religions, but as Dawkins is best known in the UK and US, we can safely assume that most mail comes from Christians. (That, and the mention of Jesus, and God instead of Allah).
As to the claim that he would forge mails like this, I can only laugh. In every other aspect of his debate with theists, Dawkins shows respect and restraint, even when his opponents don't. So why would he be unethical about this?

Other than them he was just engaging himself in a unevenhanded discussion with lay religious people. The theists were not happy with Dawkins precisely because of this. The idea of a god or gods was created by humans. Why do you know of your god? Because you we're told by people believing in him. God is an unnessecary abstraction layer in the history of the universe. We don't know why the universe existed. But there is absolutely no reason in putting something else before it's creation, which must have been created somehow too. 'God' was made up by humans long ago as answer to where we come from. Nothing more.

Faith, on the other hand, is not blind as many people think. I don't have room to put up evidence for what I believe. Yet I believe in a God that reveals Himself to me who has a small brain with little knowledge. I believe in the Bible and there are number of evidences that are proven by Science itself that the Bible is true.

Agreed some of the mail comes from the other two Abrahamic religions, but as Dawkins is best known in the UK and US, we can safely assume that most mail comes from Christians. (That, and the mention of Jesus, and God instead of Allah).
As to the claim that he would forge mails like this, I can only laugh. In every other aspect of his debate with theists, Dawkins shows respect and restraint, even when his opponents don't. So why would he be unethical about this?

If God loves Dawkins, why is going to condemn Dawkins to eternal hellfire and torture? A nice and loving Christian is unfortunately a hypocrite. I don't mean to sound insulting, and I certainly prefer "moderate" Christians like yourself, but it just doesn't make much sense.

Interesting to see how aggressive supposedly morally centered theists are both in the video and in the comments. Quite defensive indeed, of course it is sacrilege to question or debate their beliefs. I know that there has been many brilliant theists through history, course with so many theist that's bound to happen. I think of them as being brilliant despite being a theist, meh nobody is perfect .

Recently : Richard Smalley (look this guy's name up, he is the current rockstar in the field of chemistry). Dawkins is a liliputian compared to him), Kohn, etc. Last time I checked, the achievement of these theist in life is more than even your Dawkins can ever dream of, let alone you.

@walkingphilosopher Dawkins has done many debates, answered many questions from people of every faith, and has never left any serious challenge or question unanswered or unaddressed. He's done this to the point that religious fanatics created fake videos of him being stumped on questions that he has already answered. Search YouTube for his name and watch the top results. @EpicPhalure Your Dawkins debated a couple or more intelligent theists (Ex: Allister McGrath and John Lennox). Other than them he was just engaging himself in a unevenhanded discussion with lay religious people. The theists were not happy with Dawkins precisely because of this. In addition, the video that you were talking about MAYBE a video intended to a parody of some sort, and no intelligent person is stupid enough not to immediately recognize that this was fake.

If satan were real, he would recruit those against god instead of punishing them, because of the feud between god and him.
