  • Build a giant space telescope.

  • The thing is that Gliese 581 is a star -_- Gliese 581 b . Gliese 581 c ,Gliese 581 D, Gliese 581 F and Gliese 581 G are the planets of this solar system. There is maybe a potential of life on Gliese 581 C and D cus they are in the habitable zone of gliese 581.

  • lol at those robots

  • maybe their just more technologically advanced humans

  • yeah...Daleks and Cybermen....I feel like watching Dr.Who...Go and watch Dr.Who people!More educational than this thing!

  • Wow! Floating privates! at 1:07 Yeah Aliens couls look like out private parts right?

  • 1. Size matters (Gliese 581) LOL XD

    2. War of The Worlds was created by H.G. Wells

    3. read the first LOL XD

  • jajajaja daleks

  • its actually like 3.87 times the size

  • woohooo they sent us some screenshots of their video games!!! yay

  • if theres no life on there that is dangerous, then all scientists shud pick everyone up from their homes in spaceships and lets head over there

  • Gliese 581 will be the next Fallout 3 planet :P, cool video dude keep it u

  • they look like humans but they are not smart than us but iam not sure

  • I laughed when I heard the music! War of the Worlds by Jeff Wayne, that is genius!

  • the robot at the end was awesome

  • @hina93ta They're called Cybermen.

They used to be human but now they're cyborgs.

  • @badwolf66 I thought they were Ironman when the world was in black and white

  • realy u think that creaters from that animals that look like shit? they might look not as scary as u think it is i might still be evolving with life?

  • worst video on oyutube

  • @SandersonCallum Nah I've seen worse.

  • @badwolf66

any examples, I still believe it's this one

  • Baahh that sucked! I've seen scarier aliens in San Diego. Only those aliens steal your wallet when you aren't looking.

  • tell me how can you move in a planet where you weight 5x times your normal weight

  • I give you a dutch hand grenade

  • why dont we go there kick the arses off them aliens and take the world for ours muhahahahaha

  • there is no way of telling what they would look like "assuming that there is life there" because evolution is completely random and they could look like ANYTHING

  • i wonder what is inside the mind of ppl that make such videos.

  • makes you want to eat sushi

  • crap

  • war of the worlds on concert thats the song i love the vid war of the worlds my dad allways put it on 4 me and him and he gave it to me its amazing

  • do u see any building there? or satelite? or light come out on the dark side? well i do not see anything, means maybe there have no life or that time stone age for them

  • they look like giant penises....

  • I DONT BELEVE IT O_O

  • they did not name it glecie 581 thats the suns name the planets name is Goldilocks

  • they are like 0:52

they also dance, sing and have nice FolkMetal

the babes glow pink lights, and botbitches dark purple

    Hell's Yeah

    t(-____-t)

  • Have we reached the speed of light A pair of German physicists claim to have broken the speed of light - an achievement that would undermine our entire understanding of space and time.

According to Einstein's special theory of relativity, it would require an infinite amount of energy to propel an object at more than 186,000 miles per second.

speed of light is 619 million MPH!!!

search speed of light in google and click on the telegraph one

  • we have 1 year and a half to get to that planet

we wont have enough time people spend money on war spend money on lives people!

  • 75000 hits just proves that anyone can make it in show biz.

  • hey u never showed a human

  • LOL! 1:13 is a cockroach

  • i want to know but then i dont

  • just wondering, if there is really earth-like planets out there...don't you think its possible that in those earth-like planets have human-like living too? i mean, we may think they're aliens but if their planet is very similar in ours like we see in pictures...then creatures living in there MUST be similar to ours as well...right? If i'm right then maybe there are aliens that looks like us living in our planet Earth, studying us without us knowing. Only if their technology is advance than ours.

  • "Gliese 581" Extraterrestre Descoberto

    /watch?v=nb5uNFn93hc

  • Learn to spell! And use better videoediting programs than this standard windows crap :D

    Pron è merda.

  • your video is crap...

  • @rusty311jones Don't worry I got other videos.

  • @badwolf66 Your video isn't really crap, its just that the name is misleading.. you should have chosen a more carefully picked name :)

  • @rusty311jones your life is crap

  • there is another life planet some where but i bet there also humans

  • 0:43 why would they look like that lmao

  • Gliese 581 looks like an opposite of earth and bigger size of it .

  • Lol the pics r rly fucked up for such a video...

  • Acyually this would be a good prospect of the planet that the greys come from with their big eyes, because the star is a red drawf, and dose not emmit as much visiable light, hence the large eyes

  • 0:57 its earth inventions lol

  • IT WILL B STUPID HAVING BIGGER BUGS DEN US

  • Lol, War of the Worlds music in the background :D Awesome!

  • the name of the planet is gliese 581c. gliese 581 is the name of the dwarf star that it orbits.

  • ho;y fuck there could be life on that planet u no

  • are you think there are fish on gliese, mayby herring hmmm delicious

  • what if we got a big ass motherfucking teliscope to zoom in on the planet to see if theres life?

  • do they have the ability to really zoom in and see if there are humans civilising??

  • 5 times bigger than earth? well i've read from other reliable info sources, gliese 581's size exactly about 1.5 - 2 times of earth

  • @senju89

well biggest depend on its radius only know the mass which is 5.36 times that of the Earth so he is correct consider the mass not the radius. but it's possible that planet bigger than the earth due to the mass you know if there is same rocky structure then we can forget the mass cause both got same materials then size is the only factor.

  • @senju89

I saw now it's radius bigger than 50% of earth

  • 0:45 pause there what are those zombie like creatures? XD but there wierd......

  • cool! but we should not get in contact with them. theres a reason why we are so far apart to the other planets tht have life in it.

  • You can even spell! Use your spell check next time...

  • at the speed of 655543 km/sec with a new adaption of pressure taken and new materials from the moon we maybe can thought we are predicted to done it lol!

  • why hg wells war of the worlds intro???

  • gliese 581 is the name of the star that gliese 581C orbits.

there is a C after 581 if you are reffering to the planet.

  • @Kittycatnya12367 Thanks for that, I don't really look at this video anymore, I kind of rushed it.

  • @Kittycatnya12367

than you ppl keep saying that Gliese 581 is a planet

  • @Kittycatnya12367 Actually there are 3 known I believe C, D, and E D is the most likely candidate since C has a polar lock on its sun. D is 2.5 times the size of earth if I'm not mistaken

  • We have assigned values to our existence, to our world, but who is to say what other beings have developed? Who can say that they will value the same things as we? We have only the premise that cause and effect, in both the physical world and in society, will have like consequences for "them". It may be commonplace for them to do what we would consider bizzarre. They may come to our planet, fuck us to death and then eat us. Who knows?

  • through which telescope they have found out the earth like other planet. I just wanted to know. Is that telescope has that much capacity to collecte the information which is at 120 trillion miles away. It is quite amazing and right now what is the position, whether can we live in this planet. - LN

  • when your looking into space using a telescope are you not looking into the past because its 20.5 lightyears away so it would apear to us as it looked 20.5 years ago

  • Movie Maker shit, grammar- and spelling mistakes make it unbearable.

  • I personally think we should be looking at the moons of some of the gas planets were finding... couple of stars closer with these,a nd if Juipiter is any indicator these things probably have dozens of moons. One might have water.

Of course, if we ever manage to achieve speeds near the speed of light, then perhaps this would be feasable...

  • I think that by the time we achieve near light-speed travel or find any kind of short-cut method of traveling vast distances, we will also be much more mature as a species. I would hope that maturity and ability for interstellar travel are both interdependent. Otherwise we would resemble nothing more than a virus traveling and overtaking planet after planet with no other purpose than propagating our species.

  • @NoblestBear

Perhaps, in the end, that is all any of us are.

It is not an ignoble act to bow to the biological imperative of survival, and spreading to other planets increases the chances our species will continue to exist.

Your virus analogy makes it sound like we should sterilize our entire race and die out, so as not to spread any further.

While there are some truly horrific specimen of the human being, I find some catastrophically wonderful specimen as well.

  • @Slipfeed Collectively speaking, in our quest for dominance, power, pleasure, and all the imaginings that boost the ego, we Humans have almost destroyed the world. We've polluted the oceans and skies, killed entire species of other animals, committed continuous wars, murders and rapes of one another since we've had the ability to do so. Fortunately, we also recognize that it's wrong to live this way. I'm just saying that it's necessary to change, to grow up, before we go on to the next planet.

  • We'll end up going on another planet at 1 point but to be honest we humans are the dominant race of the galaxy no one has visited us since humans were created so we'll probably end up meeting them, by them i mean animals not real people after all we are all basically monkeys.

  • here is the song :) /watch?v=Io-fDcpeVl0

  • what is this song playing in the background? - i must have it.!

  • "new heaven and new earth" ?

secret society kept us on our edge about their future plan, its almost scary

  • @joemadly

Sounds like you're talking about the Illuminati.

  • i dont think we should limited ourselves to a single name displayed

  • @joemadly new heaven new earth thats in the bible. God said he would create that.

the illuminati have nothing to do with that.

  • Learn to spell.

  • no point in talking about it if u cant get to it

  • can't get to it...yet

  • Gliese 581 is the name of the star. The planet is called Gliese 581c because its the second planet out (when planets are named the a planet is always skipped)

  • 3rd planet out, actually. Planets are named in the order they're found, not the order in which they orbit their star. Hence the most recent planet found there being called Gliese 581e, despite the fact that it orbits the closest.

  • i think d is the only one in the habitable zone they say now. might be a waterworld but they're just guessing b/c we dont have the technology to analyze planets that many light years away. i forgot how many but they said it would take 350,000 years for us to get there.

  • actually scientists now think at Gliese 581d to more suitable to sustain life...the thing is that this planet is 7 times the mass of the Earth, and c is 5 times...u really should be very muscular for a human to stay upright on one of those planets :D

  • i heard 5 times earth's mass...not size

  • BIG UP PLANET EARTH

  • ok people, everyone at the gym if u want to have a chance to even be able to stand upright on those planets :)

  • you shouldn't make videos until you can use proper grammar.

  • Like you have any videos.

Anyway this was made a while.

  • W66... hahahahahaha.

  • they could kill us if they come here to take over and can have way better technology to do it

  • i know how to check if theres life on it or not.... plankton is what helped our oceans grow with animals in it, if we can get a picture of a big spot on this planet..there might be life on it..unless plankton only lives on our planet.

  • lets just say it will take us probably 65 years to get there but scientists will work on how to get there fast... we still have to study about the "speed of light" thingy.

we might say 67% there will be creatures there cos of temperature(it goes to 35 degrees), rocky(like ours), and water.. XD

  • The planet is over 18921409451616km's away from us, i think we'll make it there..lol

  • They can just use the anti grav drives.

  • @Azza1070 30 years to get the technology and 20 years to get there so it will take 50 years from now

  • @powerkart AWESOME! I'll probably be able to go then! :D

  • @Azza1070 One way ticket or ull probably die on the way back lol. Good Luck flying a shuttle at light speed. Ive heard 20 years on earth is 2 years going at light speed can anyone comferm this and tell me how? Oh and good luck if u make it to the planet u may get eaten by the gliesions

  • @powerkart not if the technology allows us to exceed the speed of light.

  • @Azza1070 how many years will it take to get us there?? have i got enough time to pack lol

  • @Azza1070 Hey don't worry!

We could freeze sperm and send it there :P....

  • There has to be life somewhere out there, its just that our technology is not good enough to explore those places yet.

  • Gliese 581 C may or may not be a nice place for microbial life, depending on it's precise characteristics. If there is more then that is hard to tell. (Although if microbial life produced a lot of oxygen multicellular life may very well exist too, although the extreme gravity would certainly have certain constraining effects on it.)

  • have you seen the mass and it's smaller.

  • oh And Gliese 581 is the name of the star, not the planet.

I hope this particular exoplanet gets a cool name, well the same thing for all the other exoplanets.

  • Too bad they only named it Gliese 581 C lol.. Like they do with all exo planets. =/

  • Lol you used Nayely Rodriguez's 3rd WWE theme.

I hope CM Punk cashes in!!!! and defeats edge!

  • yes theres life out there but do we know for sure u hard headed bastards BIBLE ROCKS!!!!!

  • For all of the bible fuckers out there, why the fuck don't you all grow up and stop concerning yourselves with shitty Earthly matters?!

  • the star is so old that life there could be billions more advanced than us

  • Life definately exists elsewhere. And for the bible beaters out there, I have a question for you...if god is all knowing, why would he put all his eggs in one basket and put life only on 1 planet? Those trillions of galaxies, stars, and planets are there for a reason you know...

  • I don't believe in god.. but maybe he just dosen't want life forms on every planet. or maybe he failed in making life forms on some planets.

  • DIVINE FAIL

    Lol

  • if there i no god and you believed that, then why say "he" doesnt want lifeform and "he" failed making lifeforms. thats stupid.

    no god means no story

    its like saying

"there is no god because he makes my life miserable" why say he makes? he doesnt exist. LOL.

    now shut it emo

  • How the fuck does it make you an emo just because you believe in god?

i DON'T believe in god so calm the fuck down.

  • @fenderic

Not all "bible beaters" disbelieve in extraterrestrial life. In fact it might even strengthen their belief, and they could easily say the reason all those planets and galaxies are there is because they were INTENDED by god to be there. I'm not a "bible beater". Just poking the holes so easily through your dumbass argument and trying to pigeonhole over 2 billion people into one neat little stereotype. Troll harder

  • @fenderic thats a very good point buddy ^^ if god is so smart he wouldnt put ell hes eggs in the same basket... but on the other hand, if god is smart as a god.. he can put all hes eggs on same basket b/c he wont fail ^^ (just kidding )

  • @fenderic LOL love it..tell them man tell um...

  • awesome maybe there is some microorganisms that take over the brain and make them eat each other

  • they used this song in war of the severs

  • The song's kinda weird. Anyone know what it is?

  • It is from the war of the worlds original sound track.. I can't remember the name but have a look for the war of the worlds Soundtrack in your local record store and you will find it:D

  • or it is Nayely Rodriguez's theme.

  • Sound Track from Jeff Wayne's War of the worlds Original MOVIE NOT the Tom Cruise remake piece of crap

  • It's 124274238447466 miles away... or 124274238447467.

  • Jeff Waynes "War of the Worlds" Richard Burton was the narrater.

  • looks like in a couple of years from now there gonna send some roverers to check out the new planet then if their is Life and it is perfect for us to live there then in another 70 years from now we have the ability to move there

  • I dont know if we will have the technology to send a rover to that planet in only a couple of years. We would probably have to come up with new technology 3x as fast as we do now.

  • Comment removed

  • at the speed of light it would take 25 thousand years to get there,so that leaves us with a little problem

  • Its 20.5 light years away, so at the speed of light it would take 20.5 years to reach.

  • @duerghar yes thats correct,I thought he said 25 thousand lifgt years,,

  • @duerghar We can't move the speed of light though

  • stupid people daleks dont live on gliese 581 they live on skaro!!!

  • I added them as an example of different types of life.

  • daleks? i salute you.

  • woot!an arms race with a new planet! hello cold war 2.0 baby!

  • is planet giliese in our galaxy? or in other galaxies?

  • Great video.

  • i wonder if scientists bothered to send radio messages there

  • Us Canadians used to live there, but we moved here to Earth because we were bored of our society on that planet.

  • congrats..Canada's officially the most boring country ever. If there were any seals on that planet I'm sure they were happy to see the last of Canadians >:)

  • Some left over igloos, and some canoes, maybe some beavers, eh.

  • The star is Gliese 581 the PLANET is Gliese 581 d

  • never know a planet that could support life can has any form

could even be dragons or even your mum

  • i hope humans can go there!or them visiting us our planet!lol

  • 20.5lightyears is quite close... And if we never invent warp or hyperdrive we still can reach this world...

  • quite close? not for us, it would take more then a life time to get there if we left on a rocket today

  • Ye, but its still possible if we talking about a generational ship... people can still get there...

  • 20.5 years at speed of light

41 years at 1/2 speed of light

82 at 1/4 the speed of light

  • Ya, and if we manage to achieve around 90% of light speed then the relativity theory kicks in (not that it wont on lesser speeds, only it will be noticeable at near light speeds) and astronauts will live to see it, since time within the ship will go much slower than outside it.... so they might get there...

  • Relativity is a load of crap. Humans are too stupid to go anywhere.

  • Not if theirs oil or some form of new energy, then they rush to it.

  • U GUYS ARE DREAMERS!!hahahaha, its ok, a planet that its most earthlike, but those creatures were dumb!

  • its gliese 581C

  • C is probably has a runaway geenhouse effect. Its 581 d

  • you should look on wikipedia, they said that only on 581c could be life,D is to cold

  • I looked and it said not. In wikipedia 581c it says "The study of Gliese 581 c by the von Bloh et al team has be quoted as concluding "The super-Earth Gl 581c is clearly outside the habitable zone, since it is too close to the star." "

  • i love wiki... but it soundly like someone changed that

  • i dont think so.

  • Gliese 581 is a star, not a planet. However, there is a planet within Gliese 581 solar system that may be suitable to live.
