  • What a nice sound.

  • would NOT use a Coors Light...have tried approx 30 beers (different brands) and everytime a coors light will get sheared like the top was cut off cleanly. idk its not due to no practicing...

    perfect trick for anyone!

  • you speak way too much, I got frustrated waiting for the magic, so i fast forward, and never see you open one and got disappointed. I just needed the 10 seconds you open the beer. Other than that thanks for the long-winded instruction.

  • Hey Mango, do you know of any flair bartending schools near Minnesota??

  • we pop it off and while it is falling in the air we smack the cap at each other

  • nice video, thanks for taking the time to give a proper lesson

  • Man i love ths trick..... the guest like they think it is really cool, and they say it kinda reminds them of popping the top off capaign

  • bro... if u elaborated less on every fucking detail u talk about, i would enjoy seeing u, but u speak too fucking much... but other than that, very good...

  • @woooooooooof ------ Hater...... we have those at my job...... Chris you are the shit and i appricate the in depth detail you put in ur videos..... Thanks a bunch, learned alot from you so far

  • i just uploaded my own video on bottle pop'n , but i make the bottom pop off

  • I found this video because I didn't know what falir bartending is so I searched for it.

Well you sound very professional and serious about your job, but I wonder what sort of superfical wankers are impressed by this. I guess it's different in the US were service staff don't get a real wage and survive on tips.

  • service industry staff dont get a real wage anywhere and probably make more money in the west where people tip, also this isnt really flair

  • In the two countries I've lived in service staff do earn good salaries and no one tips.

  • years ago when i first tried this out, ive broken a couple of bottles. and got some foam. then with practice i perfected it. but i havent done it lately. its been a good while. it is a fun easy move....

  • works like a charm - still practicing but opened about 20-30 bottles that way. :-)

There's just a problem: The foam-over... This happens every time, and I can imagine people not being happy about it (and I do make a mess too...)

Any sugestions? Or should I just practice more and more?

  • Hmmm, I get foam over maybe once every 5 or 6 times I try this. It's definitely something to avoid, if possible, because guests do not appreciate seeing half their beer foam out. The only advice I have, other than practice of course, is be sure not to shake or jar the bottle at all before you open it or, as that will def foam it more. People have a tendency to move the bottle as they're opening it - you really just want to move the opener. And keep it pointed straight up.

  • @shronked If that happens its usually because you've dropped the bottle down while still holding it or in most cases you've pulled it from a dump fridge. The best way i find is either squash your hand over it or for a more hygienic way squash your bar blade on top and then just slide it off, it looks good and customers are happier because they have a full beer, it also works with alcopops and if it fizzes over just recover the same way.

  • @shronked Hey its most likely because you've dropped the bottle and shaken it up slightly while its in your hand, however the most likely reason is because you've pulled it from a dump fridge. To combat this either squash your hand or bar blade over the opening and after 2/3 seconds it will be fine, customers tend not to mind if you use your hand, they'd much rather have a full drink, and if you feel like it you can just give it a quick wipe with a towel. Hope that helps.

  • @shronked Sometimes I find that if the beer isn't cold enough, I get more foam than from ice cold beers.

  • @shronked

You should open any other bottles than beer, coz they don't foam over ;) Like Bacardi Breezer, Smirnoff Ice ect.

  • @shronked

Beer have to be more cold maybee ?

If beer is cold usually its not foaming if it wasnt shaked or somthing like this.

    Good Luck

  • Our manager showed us this trick but he uses the other side of the bottle opener where you're supposed to hold it because it stops the bottles from breaking... just figured that might help your bar cost.

  • you mean you just bought one of your owners beers... lol...

  • yea i want to know to where i gan get that kind opener

  • I got a Jagermeister one on ebay for about $5.00, check it out.

  • Hi , can you give me tthat website you talkin about where you bu your Manda?? i Don't live in USA and I can't hear the address

  • GREAT VIDEO

  • started working on it only downside is cause i work in aus we only sell buddys once in ever blue moon

  • I've been doing this one for a couple months now. I serve a ton of bottled beer at my bar and it gets a great response from the loud pop it makes. Practice a bunch and you can actually follow the cap and hit it like a baseball with your church key. Like he said, stick to domestics! Keep the great videos coming!

  • Thanks so much for the awesome videos man. You're a beast!

  • will do and by the way can i just thank you for all the effort you put in these videos. VERY much appreciated

  • I'm super fast with a bic lighter...maybe faster than with a speed opener, but this kills it! Can't wait to try.

  • i hit a lady on the head from about 5 yards down the bar. she was not pleased.

  • Grrrr... like I said more than once in the video - Practice this one a ton at home! Some guests that really got a kick out of this move, I would once in a while play a game with them to see if they could catch the cap, which they thought was fun. However, hitting someone unsuspecting is never acceptable! Please, practice this one more. It does a disservice to the flair community if patrons leave your bar upset about some aspect of your flair. Be a good ambassador of flair!

  • thanks once again great video

  • Looks like fun. Can't wait to start working on it.
