I didn't know until a few months ago that Brandis had passed. I will largely remember him in the role of "Barry" from the film "Sidekicks" which I had much in common. I was a young teenager in middle school when I saw the film. Small, wiry, awkward, bullied, and suffering my parent's divorce, I looked to Sidekicks for hope that my situation would improve, and it has.

I would like to thank Brandis for helping me through those horrible, tumultuous years. I am terribly sad that he is gone.

i cried so much. so many people loved him, he was incredible. i feel horrible because i had never heard of him until last yr, i because a fan after he passed, and ever since everytime i hear his name i burst into tears. he was so incredible and he didnt know it, he had so much left to live for, a whole life to live, and he took his life away, i wish i couldve been there to support him, but i wouldve been to young anyways, i was only a little kid back then. i miss him so much )': <3 xx
