  • No I usually just start running. How much water should I drink? Its 2 weeks till tryouts should I do it every day or every other day?Is the stomach cramps and leg muscle tightening coming from asthma or dehydration/non-stretching?

  • @Bwest1992 you should take couple gulps before running, and keep drinking small amount during and after your run. if you drink too much at once you might risk getting cramps while running. try to run everyday if you can, but if you feel like you cant, then dont overpush yourself. the stomach cramp and muscle cramps are not because of your asthma, it's other factors. i used to get stomach cramps too, but eventually it went away.

  • hey this is to anyone that would know.

well i want to tryout for football this year I did the last 2 years and wasn't able to play because of my asthma. I can't run for 5 minutes without getting stomach cramps or leg muscle tightening. How can I improve this,I know by running but how often?

  • @Bwest1992 do you stretch thoroughly before running? stay hydrated? have you tried running every day or every other day? maybe if you do it for a week or two your symptoms might improve. just a guess.

  • @lilguyboi03 Hey thanks for the fast reply! I don't want to bore you with alot of questions but if you could answer a few I would really appreciate it..My first question is should I run everyday?I don't know what would be best for my body, everyday or once in a while...my next question is do you noticed that you get less asthma attacks after you get your lungs in shape and functioning more efficiently with the running?

  • @SDfilms33 When i ran, i ran every other day. I think if you feel like you are able to do it everyday, then go for it. Note that i saw improvement every time i ran, so you should see the same when you run. I don't have my peakflow with me now, but i think it's pretty high (700-800). Because my asthma is very mild, i've never had a real asthma attack. If i were you, i would try my best to be less and less dependent on medication. It might be a good way to become self-dependent rather than on med

  • hey dude...I really enjoyed this video..My asthma has gotten pretty bad lately, so Im going to try what you did to see if I can strengthen my lungs with running.

Have you been running everyday now because you realized that it helps your asthma and if so how many laps can you do now?

  • @SDfilms33 Good day. I have stopped running due to schoolwork and such. But I did run last summer for about a month, 3 times a week, and I went from 1 lap max to around 3 laps nonstop. The trick is to get a little bit (or a lot) past your comfort zone each time you run, so you'll improve. But of course, it depends on how severe your asthma is. But another thing I really enjoyed about running is that it increased my natural energy level TREMENDOUSLY. I naturally have low energy, always tired..

  • @SDfilms33 ..but after running for about 2 weeks, I noticed that I'm energetic as hell. No more midday crashes. Time to go running again this summer :)

  • hey thanks for checking me out. i know what chemtrails are and all of that other stuff. we're on the same boat, trust me. keep fighting for liberty, liberty-lover!

  • Well the first time you ran, you ran through a couple of dust clouds, which probably hindered your effort. Anyway becareful not to do it in the afternoon if they sprayed a lot of chemtrails in the morning. What are chemtrails? For any who don't know, see Youtube: "Local TV station confirms Barium"

  • hha. just wanna say u're very cute

  • hey speedchink why didnt u show ALL the trials i

  • How many weeks was this?

  • It took 2 days.

  • Wow 14 trials in 2 days.

Have you kept it up? Can you run a full mile now and if so how long did it take to achieve?

  • your peakflow in the beginning is higher than my best score!

also, excercise is good for everyone. it strengthens your whole body, including your lungs. And stronger longs help thwart future attacks.

  • good stuff man. this is awesome! now why do i have a feeling ur gonna quit running lol...

  • hey u're hot
