The 60s/70s and early 80s were the best time to fly no doubt about it. Such a shame all the fun is now being sucked out of life by the health and safety jobsworths and blame culture that has led to the job of being a pilot reduced to a systems monitor. Oh to have been born 30 years earlier!

now the part of fun is maybe gone, but flying has never been so safe and advanced. people was dieing of such a stupid mistakes.

commercial flying is to take people from point A to B, safe and fast. within that point aviation is developing. fun flying is something else.
