@harvestcheddar0 you're right, knowing how to cook doesn't make a wife but if a girl like jessica knew how to cook, with all she already does she would have the whole package. it's not necessary to cook but men look for a kind of woman that is becoming rare - the one that takes care of home too. just like women are looking for men that almost don't exist anymore. i'm not a feminist at all but i understand why some women get angry at the thought of being housewives. well too bad they like that.

@johdorada I love a man who can cook lol like my father did. If someone wants to be a housewife that's one thing, but if that's not who they are then one shouldn't try to make them that way. I have just always felt that gender does not specify what one should do in life. To be a housewife requires sacrificing a lot. If someone wants to do so then that's their preoperative. However I know plenty of men who would rather have working women. It's all on an individual level.

@harvestcheddar0 i know what you mean, good point. anyway maybe he wasn't trying to change her, that's what i was trying to say. maybe he loved her the way she was but he was just missing a little aspect of his idea of marriage and you know it doesn't hurt to tell your partner what you like and what you wish. telling them that is different than asking them to change to fit your "ideal match". i can't be sure anyway cuz i didn't watch newlyweds hehe
