I think it was about a year or year and a half ago, when I was reading the scriptures, I came to the understanding that the kingdom of the antichrist could be islamic in nature. One of the verses that led me on this journey was the verse that spoke of how satan's seat was in pergamos which is now modern day turkey. And the dominant religion in Turkey is Islam.
That is what opened my eyes to the possibility of it being someone other than Rome.

I don't agree with this analysis of the statue. The fourth iron kingdom is for sure Roman and the Fifth Kingdom is Iron mixed with clay (Islam). The iron isn't solid showing the Roman influence is spread out and not as strong as before. Every knows the Romans perfected the use of Iron. I think it was about a year or year and a half ago, when I was reading the scriptures, I came to the understanding that the kingdom of the antichrist could be islamic in nature. One of the verses that led me on this journey was the verse that spoke of how satan's seat was in pergamos which is now modern day turkey. And the dominant religion in Turkey is Islam.
That is what opened my eyes to the possibility of it being someone other than Rome.

I don't agree with this analysis of the statue. The fourth iron kingdom is for sure Roman and the Fifth Kingdom is Iron mixed with clay (Islam). The iron isn't solid showing the Roman influence is spread out and not as strong as before. Every knows the Romans perfected the use of Iron. The reformers hatted Catholics so they made them antichrist. Lastly, the Rock(Dan. 2) destroyed all the 4 kingdoms together. For this to happen Rome would have to take over from Europe to Pakistan. I don't see this happening.

@Aaron0aves Isaiah tells us that When Christ returns "Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth..." Isa 46:1. Bel is the moon god of the Old Testament, so this is really saying that Allah will bow down to Christ as well! Our God, the only true God, "YWHW" will be victorious!

@BigORat Islam existed before Muhammed, Jesus, Moses and all the other prophets. The Bible is the twisted word of God; man-made: worshippers of Satan and followers of the ANTICHRIST. What Jesus preached was the Enjil, but it was taken and twisted into 1000's of gospels. !Deception is the Key! And so the book of God was taken and made into the book of the Antichrist, but is still known as book of God. That's how the Antichrist became the son of God, and God! - the greatest deception of all time.
