Screw consoles, it is all about PC's.Once directx 10 comes out no console will be able to hold a candle to the kind of graphics DX10 will be able to produce. Plus having to play a game with a controler that only has a few buttons is pretty damn annoying.

Maybe on your system DX10 is slow, I have an 8800 GTS, QX6700, and 2G of Ram and it runs DX10 games perfectly. If you are trying to play any of the new games on anything less than an 8600 or an ATI 2600 then yeah it is going to be slow and painful.

I have an brand new dell XPL laptop with windows xp sp/2 on 1 part of the hardrive and Ubuntu Linux on the other side, the computer is brand new, with an Intel xenon and a fucking ATI 9200 radon graphics card, cant direct x do something with that, plus games that run on linux/mac their based on open GL and even some windows games. and Battelfeild 2142 crashed in the fuking middle of a huge ass battle the cause? directX lagged out on me and it said "internal error".

I think that everyone should accept that consoles have good and bad points. the wii has good gameplay and innnovation (sp) while Xbox and PS3 have graphics and some good games. all good points lets use them and not.
