I lived in Taiwan about 18 years ago. I only went to the night market once (I was in high school and my parent's didn't want me to go much) but I still have the cutest basket I bought there - it is a basket with a stuffed (as in teddy bear, not real) panda's paws and head attached to it. I keep my hairbruses in it and have since I bought it way back then. Thanks for the memories.

However, here's a gentle reminder that the last comment of "buying" dog is not viewed as absolutely appropriate as the animal right is often an issue and Taiwan has very bad reputation to abandon "bought" pure breed dogs on the street. I hope my comment doesn't sound too harsh for you! I love night market.
i'm relly like taiwan,cause we shuold start to visit from taipei to kaohsiung.
and the night market's food tast is very very good,in fact,we should to go to this night market, and don't miss this good place.
