my breeder-bought Eastern Box Turtle like to bite fingers and toes, but he's too small to do any real damage, he's not near as big as a Sulcata, just adult-fist sized, but he's a fast little thing XD

Listen turtles eat meat and vegetablees and will bite ate you sometimes trying to eat you others trying to test you out. Tortosies that live strictly on land on only eat veges don't eat meat but due to there small brains are not sure what your toes are so they try to nibble at them. If they tasted you they wouldn't try it again

My tortoise is quiet small hes only 2 years old. But, i took him out side to graze and he did the same thing.
