What an inspirational display! I just picked up a bamboo fun yesterday and your video is part of why! I can sketch this sort of thing with a pencil, but doing it on the computer is a huge adjustment. How did you do the eyes? It's so fast I can't tell what tool you're using... it's like they just went from a solid color to being fully textured and glossy. Please share some of your methods!
Very good work! I have to make do with a Wacom A6. I would really like to have a new A5.
I see this vid is like 2 years old now, but if you're still looking for good tools, here's my toolset: Linux (OS) + Gimp (drawing) + Xvidcap (screen recording) + Kdenlive (video edit).
All tools are completely free, and work like a charm! I remember Camtasia, always corrupting files and crashing! Instead, these linux tools just work. So I'd recommend it.
király :) meg tudnád fogalmazni 3 mondatban miért szar a trust? épp most gondolkozom rajta, wacomra nincs pénzem. eddig a geniust éreztem gagyinak, de elgondolkoztattál. eddig csak papirra rajzoltam, vmi olyat szeretnék ami nem veszi el a kedvem, h gépen rajzoljak. ami kifejező, és finoman érzékeli a nyomást. király a rajz amúgy ment az 5 cs. :D
I will never understand everyone's fascination with this girl. I've only heard a single song of hers (the one playing in this video) and all I can think about is how much it sucks. Sounds like standard studio garbage.
@ianguage Torn was originally written and done by a group called Edna Swap, they're version is much better. Has so much more emotion than Natalie's version, and yeah I don't get it either.
Oh, BTW, you say that Genius is ok, and Trust isn't...well, they use the same technology. in fact the Trust TB-7300 and the Genius M712 are the exact same.
if you're really into drawing, i recoment to scetch first, i think it'll help you a lot. I can't draw as good as this on my wacom bamboo tablet, but i know you can do better with sketching...
Trust tablets are inacurate. If you cannot afford a Wacom Bamboo a6, then buy a genius tablet, but never "Trust". It's a piece of shit compared to other brands and products.
Sorry wanted to reply to your original comment, but i have removed it by mistake. So try to find a shop where you can actually try out these products. That can help a lot to decide and actually see the tablet's capability.
I'd also advise against buying a cheap Wacom tablet like the Bamboo. I bought one but now I've ordered the Intuos 3. The cheap one is also inaccurate but it gave me the drawing bug.
I got my Intuos 3 the other day and it is way far superior to the Bamboo. wish I'd bought the expensive one in the first place because I was nearly put of tablets because of my experience with the Bamboo. By the way the Bamboo I had was the Bamboo One not the Fun so there may be a difference.
Sure it's superior to Bamboo, I never stated otherwise. However, Bamboo is pricy enough, Intous3 is 3x times pricy (in Hungary $530 for the A5). I would not recommend to a beginner, or starter a pricy tablet like that. For a professional genius tablet would do just as fine (macapulenta uses that..). Naturally if you have cash on you, it's a good thing. Enjoy your new tablet.
I recommend wacom, which is a tablet with a digitalizing pen. A tablet won't wrok without a pen and vica versa. All I say if you can't afford a wacom tablet, buy a cheaper brand... like genius. But never ever a "Trust" branded tablets.
for that you will need a drawing software (for example: gimp, photoshop, open canvas) and a mouse, but preferably a digitalising pen. Then start drawing :)!
i read youre looking for ana laternative to camtacia to capture the process in vide? try camstudio. small program easy to use, i think should work ok, you're work's awesome, congrats! =)
they rarely do any driver upgrade, inaccurate, and after a few weeks/months your pen will get "jumpy", meaning you put your pen on the right bottom corner, and it will draw you a line from left upper corner. That can get nasty... don't mention that their "512" lvl pressure sensitivity is nowhere compared to any other tablets. Simply not worth it, genius is almost on the same prive lvl as trust, and their tablets are more reliable.
a5 size works best for me, as I almost never use any long strokes. As a beginner an a6 could be just fine too. If you have any retail seller in your city, you should visit them, they often have display product, which you can test. Or so, we have atleast 2 shops like that in Budapest.
Torn O_O Love that song, but the One Direction version is the best.

wtf lol
It's usually not about the music with her, though:P
She used to be the cutest girl alive.. Look at the Torn video..
Now she got older and she went Hollywood-ish and the Americans had her get plastic surgery and shit.
Her debute album was really good, actually.
The American-ised rest is crap.
When it comes to ruining (natural) beauty, or really anything natural, America is number one.
