Does your department have a co-op program, take a semester off to work while having your school still count you as full time for scholarship & insurance purposes? My RA from two years ago got a mech-e internship in Boston, MA, not sure where though.
dude...we got a spare room here in southern Maine...an hour from Boston or 45 min from Portland Maine...you are welcome anytime! :) The age thing IS a problem for someone like you (and for my girl who's 22) cuz they ARE about partying, and the more mature young lesbians such as you are not into that shit...which is good, keep it that way buddy.
I know exactly what you mean about being constantly busy and feeling disconnected. Don't get overwhelmed. Just concentrate on your goals and take it peice by peice. Portland's also one of my dream destinations, but I'll probably be 25 when I get to move over there - which is still pretty young.
