@tuna38 yes. You have to read the manga, "Lucy" was her given Name because no one knew her name when she got to this prison thingie, but in the end of the manga kouta found a piece of paper on the gravejard (the puppy...) and there's her real name on it: Kaede ... sorry for bad english D:

@Nitemare987 nunja da ich irgendwie ein Händchen für Viren haben die meinen Kompletten rechner vernichten und ich nun schon insgesamt 7-8mal komplett neu booten musste, neue teile besorgen und neu einbauen sind eben viele projekte nich auf meine externe gekommen, darunter auch dieses...ich schau mal wenn ich Lust und Zeit habe alles neu zu machen...

@ElfenLiedxxLucyxx Kakuzawa(the father) gave her that name as a test subject designation. Probably in reference to the fossil that was found and named Lucy because it's the oldest fossil of a human being found. And seeing as how Lucy was supposed to be the "mother" of a new race...
