I don't have to say it I can act it out and it would be 20 times more offensive, I could call them defective, I could use a euphemism "they're damaged goods", I could be politically correct "they're handicapped", I could antiquate the word with the degree in which someone's behavior or conduct is unbecoming, moronic, or juvenile. I barley use the word because there are so many words that I could use that are more powerful, retard is the dumb man's power word.

If you look the words up in the dictionary, you will see the words stupid, dumb, silly, moron, etc. are equal to retarded. Thus, I don't feel any of them are good words to use in friendly conversation. Just my opinion!

When I hear some people cuss and that's the only way they can express themselves, I truly feel sorry for them. 'Tis obvious that they haven't a large enough vocabulary to truly express how they feel about a subject. They are very ignorant of the English language and perhaps they need some more education.
