okay most of you are confused, normal is around 30 fps...Tv, human eye etc....we can see upto150 fps, the reason why slow motion has such high fps is because it's, well, so slow, it has extra frames that would normally be skipped at say 30 or 40 fps but to the human it's just as smooth, but faster, but it doesn't mean lower fps = faster or higher fps = slower, it depends on how many frames are actually being shown.

yeah, its more, 30 sounds right, not sure on the number, but i know 25 fps is a common mistake because that is the optimum number before our brains notice a "mistake", and TV's use 25fps as its small and saves bandwidth

Yes we do actually, we see at 30fps and as such when something is displayed at a lower rate than this we see "visual lag".

The human eye also has a maximum "megapixels" although it is VERY large there is a maximum

it is true, the article i read was about some scientists are using them to analyise the shockwave produced by a bullet hitting a steel plate. Because it takes 1 million fps it can only store 100 frames so they have to time it extreamly precisely, which is why you dont see many million fps videos :D

there is a big difference between the less expensive cameras and the pro gear. The cameras I use are as low as $25,000 and go up to well over $250,000. The Casio is ok for some shots, but the low resolution limits the final output. Many lenses alone are over 10K.
