Why did they give this movie such a low rating?? I loved this film and have yet to read the book but honestly. here's an example of beautiful scenes and amazing characters yet they gave it a low review. UGH i hate critics. Forget what they say, this is a beautiful movie and is very underestimated.

LOL, this movie sucked. Peter Jackson raped and murdered the story of Susie Salmon just like George Harvey raped and murdered Susie Salmon.

Stick to hobbits, Peter. Leave the thoughtful dramas to people who know how to do them, and people who aren't scared to do them either.

The ending would be better if they find her body in the end and her father finds him and beats him brutally until hes unconscious. Then he would pure gasoline all over him. Lightning up the matches. And before he sets him on fire he will say " You are gonna pay your price" "This is what you get for doing this to my daughter and your other victims" He throws the matches, and then he is set on fire. Then he screams " aaaaaaah!!!!!!!! to death. Then he goes to hell, and everyone cheers. The end

i read the book and watched the movie. I loved both things all the way UNTIL a fucking icicle had to kill Harvey...That just killed the entire book/movie for me..

I had to turn this movie off right when the grandmother showed up and the upbeat music started, and i wanted to shut it off long before that.. The acting was fine, whoever wrote this movie is one strange person.. This could have been an awesome movie, i like most of Walhbergs films, but the floating through space, and the stupid images that appear was too much.. I kept waiting for them to get back to the movie, and they kept taking the movie off on some strange trip. Walhberg MUST be embarassed.
