  • 4:42 "But I have found the truth, and so lay it bare for all to see. That his deeds might guide generations yet to come. That his name might receive the honor it is due." We're those generations, Ramza, i'll never forget your name. :)

  • Question what If you remove TG Cid instead of letting him join (as stupid as it sounds) would he still say the same things or would he also be at the funeral?..Or does the game automaticlly think you will take TG Cid

  • The world that FFT took place in is a vast one. I don't believe that they should make a sequel, but perhaps a prequel that will allow the player to experience the war between Ivalice and it's enemy nations Romanda and Ordallia.

  • a sequel will be needed

not that vagrant story, you know it will be bad knowing that ashe, balthier, and the party effort to make peace at Ivalice reduced to this

  • @chikomitata It's even worse than that. If you look at the Ivalice timeline, the cataclysm that caused moogles (and possibly the other non-hume races) to go extinct happened not even 100 years after FF12. It's even possible some of them were still around to witness it.

  • @AProperNoun yeah let's hope they are hidden (like dwarves in FF4). the FFT and Vagrant story place didn't very huge is it? I means not all the land were explored. or perhaps the FF12 cast and FFTAdvance helping with the power of the crystal assisting and revived every races that have extinct.

  • Nice but they kept walking without moving or "shuffle"

  • FFT is my favorite game of all time. I really wish a similar online game can see the daylight one day.

  • @final909 thats why they need to make a second part like they're doing for ff13

  • so...ST.AJORA ISN't REALLY A SAINT BUT AN ULTIMATE DEMON?

  • I love Tactics the most in Final Fantasy series. Best story ever

  • @ElChupiNibro That makes sense that it would be the end because all of the other Final Fantasy games use machinery and stuff, while this one didn't.

  • I guess Delita made good on his threat to cut out that girl's tongue

  • Many people who play this game will not take the path of Ramza in real life.

  • RavenBeastBoy I somehow agree with you. I mean - it's not that I hated it but I wasn't satisfacted with it. Agrias, Mustadio, where are they now? What happend to them? Don't forget Luso - we only had one cutscene with him and then what? He just 'disappeared'?

  • @KrwawaMarchefa Bonus characters who are in a game that aren't their own don't need plot exposure.

  • so r they having incest now?

  • I'm going to assume that Ramza and Alma fled Ivalice after this for obvious reasons, hence why they were never seen again. They probably WERE seen again, but they would have had to take up new identities in a foreign country, so for all intents and purposes, the Beoulve name is indeed dead.

  • We need a remake of this game, with better graphics, either on the PSP again, or the PS3. And get rid off all the lag from spells <_<

Also, have DLC, or even more classes, but I want alot more extra missions, that could be in a DLC pack. Because, though the game was awesome and really tough, after I beat it, it left me wanting more, and I thought the game was just too short... Anyone agree? Oh, and also up the difficulty level, especially on the last boss...

  • What happened with mustadio, agrias and the others?

I hate the ending of this game.

  • I just noticed, this game was pretty hard in the beginning, but when you got to chapter 4, the game got horribly easy with all the new secret characters and Orlandu who is pretty cheap against enemies since they don't stand a chance, lol.

  • I just noticed, how that in the story of FFT, St. Ajora was supposed to be a child of god or a massive hero, while it said Ajora was a normal human later on, but then after you learned that, it turned out Ajora was the master of the lucavi... so strange. Oh, and It said that they used the zodiac stones in the past to defeat great evil, but now the great evil is the stones. I guess they used to stones to seal the evil from the past?

  • So let me get this straight....

After the battle, Alma and Ramza ran away, while the church came in later on to find Alma's body (ironically, it was St. Ajora) and buried her in the grave. That's pure effin fail for the church, for they didn't know that their god was dead :3.

  • @AnotherOneOfYou The church knew St. Ajora wasn't god, they made that story up to get control of people. The church was one of the biggest enemies in this game.

  • My favorite FF game and storyline. Now, after seeing the scenes of the PSP remake, I wish they'd make a movie out of it like they did with FF Advent Children... Then maybe FFT will become more known...

  • What people seem to always forget is that Ramza had all those zodiac stones....Remember when Malak was shot by Barinten atop Riovanes? The stone brought him back to life. Ramza had almost the WHOLE collection in the airship graveyard. It's quite obvuous to me that is really Ramza and Alma at the end, and the stones saved them.

  • @JohnFl211 yes, but thats not what I'm wondering, remember when Ramza got teleported to were St. Ajora was, that a shrine knight destroyed the portal so Ramza couldn't return... Unless they found the book and learned the spell with the zodiac stones to get back to Ivalice.

  • FFT is so damn epic.

  • I love the cutscenes and new dialog of the FFT remake but I honest think that the ending cutscene of the original PS1 version of FFT was better then this one.

  • Se murió su papa :'(

  • The only thing missing in this game imo, is a love interest for Ramza.

I always feel something is missing. It would be nice to have Ramza have a girlfriend to lean on in times of hardship.

  • @llanbull I think Agrias would have been the best match for Ramza; there are great fics with this pairing on FF.Net.

  • 3:24

  • RAmza didnt wanna go back because he didnt wanna deal with their BS which is why his friend died just for saying he saw them

  • @FaceXDpalm i think that the reason why ramza or alma didn't talk back to orran and pretend like they someone else. they must knew of what will happen to him if they saw them.

  • @final909 thats what im sayin...the church kidnapped ramzas sister and all he wanted to do was get her back and he did but he realized what the church was really doing...the church knew ramza found out about what the church was really doing but they couldnt kill him cause hes too damn strong

  • @FaceXDpalm yeah, i just hope agrias, mustadio and the others were not burned or killed by the church...

  • @final909 they werent cause at the end when it shows ramza and his sister riding on chocobos into the sunset it says that ramza, his sister, and any of ramzas companions and friendschose to live life in a location far from the church and corrupt land they used to live in or something like that

  • @FaceXDpalm Where does it say that about them? I don't recall seeing anything like that in the game's ending at all... It seemed to insinuate that either Ramza and Alma were alive or possibly just spirits, if you take into account the massive explosion at the end.

Also at least for Orran, he was definitely burnt at the stake. The rest of the people on Ramza's team are never mentioned, and it's never said that Ramza and Alma live happily ever after, though it does show them. Alone.

  • @MasterAsra hmmm i may have read wrong but regardless im sure theyre still alive along with theyre companions...wether theyre living happily is a mystery in which they should make a second part just like theyre doin for ff13...this is the first time theyre doing a second part to a FF game so why dont they do the same for FFT or more importantly FF7??!!!

  • @FaceXDpalm Because FFX-2 was a trainwreck and FFT's story is told and was done so in a well enough way that it doesn't need to be continued. I mean, all those other FF7 spinoffs were just ridiculous.

  • @MasterAsra ff13 was still a good game and its not really a trainwreck if you know the story...and id still want a FFT 2 cause it was a good game regardless if the story was told well enough...the spinoffs for ff7 were good too so idk what you mean when you say they were rediculous

  • @FaceXDpalm If they do make a fft 2 don't expect the story line to be as good since Yasumi matsuno sole writer and director of this game is working with level 5 now. I honest agree with MasterAsra the storyline is finished and I really don't want a sequel to this game.

  • @stacetheface47 very well i guess there is logic in your point...i hope that he at least comes out with a new rpg game that does well

  • @stacetheface47 Some games are written for sequels. This one wasn't. And I'm fine with that. I didn't even think it was necessary to continue on with FF7, but that's solely my opinion.

  • @Psychowilly No they shouldn't off FF7 didn't need a sequel either but they made several games afterwards because of a overzealous fan base.

  • @Psychowilly I would like to see what could happen, but since it's already a told story, there's no need (and it would be hard) to put this right... But it would be cool a Delita's side story wouldn't it?

  • @MasterAsra Maybe, but a few of them were definitely helpful for explaining wtf went on to cause all the nonsense in VII

  • Now the whole world knows of the True story behind the War of the Lions and the Legend of the Zodiac Braves.

  • I finished this game once and repeating it again.

  • Man I just beat the game but for it to be such a great one the ending kinda disapointed me they should had Ramza come back and kill that ass Delita and take house Beovoulve(or however you spell that) to the top.

  • @Ikefepor08

The point of this game is - doing good doesn't pay. But are you willing to do good?

  • As emotionally invested I was playing this game growing up... I always took Olan (Orran) seeing Ramza and Alma as a hallucination. After the explosion in Murond and all the tragedy already in the game... it just seemed more fitting for Ramza to have died the hero.

  • @mooseclamps That is EXACTLY how I took it when I beat this as a child....it really had a very strong emotional impact on me as well.... I felt so sad to see Ramza and Alma.....and pretty much everyone else...die. Nobody really got ahead in the long run, and thus, because they were branded heretics...none of them would ever really be remembered or acknowledged for all they fought for to change the world... :/

  • One of the saddest ending, I was shocked when I saw them alive. Too bad, they were branded as heretics.

  • Hail to he who was forgotten. Ere made his choice, erred falsely by the many. The true son of Beoulve's name and heir to it's spirit.

    Long live Ramza Beoulve!

  • What, exactly, is Valmafra doing at 2:02 ?

  • and nope.Delita is..and always be, the corrupted ass.....

  • Hey um i also played finish the game but...where did alma and ramza go?

  • They died

  • lol I just realized when olan (I'll use the ps1 name ^^) saw ramza he was wearing the chapter 4 outfit but look at 4:37 you can see ramza weaing the chapeter 2-3 outfit lol XD

  • Ramza and Alma did in fact survive, and you can figure that out without the creators actually telling you, (which the didn't).

Orran claims he saw Ramza and Alma riding chocobos, but didn't quite know if it was a hallucination. It wasn't, what he saw was real and you can tell the following cutscene showing the two riding chocobos on the countryside. If the chocobos had to stop for a break and drink water, they had to be real.

  • this game is an well orchestrated well written master piece. the story is filled with so much blood and at the very edge of it all there's that glimpse of realistic hope. despite having the final Fantasy name its very real in so many ways. its sad that he got burned for telling the truth. that really sucks for him....really sucks

  • The game is available on PSN for just 9,99, and it works on both your PS3 and PSP.

  • how about FFIX?

  • ramza is the best hero of all FF. LONG LIVE THE HERO!

  • AGREED!

  • @mercykill82 lol got to agree to that

  • What about the ending with Delita and Ovelia? Did they kill each other?

It's a really big mystery at the end, makes you wonder too much about who actually survived and died... I suggest to anyone replaying this game to do it without leveling too high, try not to do any extra fights and just go from Red to Red points on the map, it's REALLY tough and very fun. I completed this game at level 32 within 1 lifeless day and I'm gonna do it again!

There's just something about Final Fantasy games...

  • Yes,Delita killed Ovelia at the End,because she was saying he was that killed Ramza, and Delita gets out a dagger and stabs Ovelia, and she dies.

  • she actually stabbed him first. He grabbs her dagger out of him and stabs her back.

  • Who was that with Orran?

Sigh, I wished this game had a happy ending instead of being so tragic, with almost all their allies dying and Orran being burned, and Ramza's name was not cleared until like, how many years later? ._. It really disturbs me to look at FFXII, and then think about FFT. I initially thought FFXII was like, after FFT, but I checked out wiki and was shocked. Sigh.

  • i've finished this game on PS1 when i was 7

and now i'm saving money to buy PSP -- just to play this game again... (and maybe other game too, but FFT war of the lion comes first)

    i missed this game T T

  • alma died?

  • Epic... Epic game... =D

  • Balmafula is cool!

  • try playing this game on play station 1 its way diffrent

  • on this one there is an job of Dark Knight the same as a Fell Knight (like Gaffgarion) or Death Knight (like Argath on Limberry).

i always make Ramza a Dark Knight at the start of the 2 chapter and keep with level 10 using Level trap on Zeklaus Desert and training there until i reach Dark Knight then i continue the storyline, cuz something that always bothers me it's the Fact that Delita became a Holy Knight while Agrias is one too and Gaffgarion an Fell knight..

  • that fucking suck olan gets burned at the stake for righting everything down and what the hell happened to all your other party members? did they die at the graveyard of airships? somebody please tell me....

  • the party characters permanently are non canon doesn't have to be with the story ending those who are unique characters like Agrias,Orlandu,Mustadio,etc.... when they are guest they are from the storyline and after they join your party they are like they never existed and if you ask me about the scene where Mustadio give to Agrias the Tynar rouge or when Agrias visit Ovelia, well those are non canon scenes those are not necessary to reach the ending. the only ones are Ramza and Alma(as guest).

  • Yeah, since all of them are optional to be in your party, kinda it doesn't make any difference in the ending (altought it should!)...

  • yeah that's exactly what i meant, but somebody somehow didn't understood and they thumbed my comment now, i did not more than speak the true they don't die they only are not necessary to end the game the only important character for the ending is Ramza knowing that you can refuse the others.

  • there is 1 game tht occurs after the Zodiac Brave Story tht 1 is Vagrant Story my favorite game.....

Also happens in Ivalice and there is refenrences about the Zodiac Brave Story, is normal if U play it U will not see easily this refenrences because they are on Item descriptions....

  • this gae has the best storyline i loved playing it i got to clone T.G. cids sword it was a great sword if anyone wants to know how to do this pm me ill tell u

  • Seee , los verdaderos Heroes de esta historia somos nosotros por haber sido los Espectadores!!

  • Is it me or is the ending different from the PSX version? The original had a full-motion cutscene too, but... different.

  • It's supposed to be Old English.

  • Delita had let Orran escape becuase he did not have that much knowledge on him and Valmafra becuase he had cut off her tongue so she would not spill anything about the chruch

  • Delita became... i donno what to say...... you know? cutting off her tongue, it's.... well, after the death of Tietra he change a lot and i always wanted to fight Delita.

    Delita:Holy Knight

Ramza:Dark Knight"knowing that the only same class as an Holy is the only job as the same rank so it could be epic"

  • i like playing an rpg to feel like you accomplished something, when your party dies and the evil king wins...well...

  • if Ramza and Alma make their way to live, i no wonder that the others do the same thing.

  • The best story I have seen in a game. A bit complicated though.

  • I always thought they fixed or changed the ending a bit more since it made me, "speechless". I mean like, Only Ramza and Alma made it out alive? Everyone else died? But still, Final Fantasy ending's are confusing. T_T. Good game btw, Baltheir unlockable char was pretty sweet. =0

  • Am I the only one who thinks that the story wasn't nearly as good as you thought it to? When I first picked up the game, I thought something like: "Woah, interesting story." But as I played, the story continued, but I somehow got the feeling that it developed like that without a second glance at it. Additionally, the ending left me just plain speechless (of course, it's somehow realistic because you wouldn't survive the explosion of an airship, but isn't it kinda weird that ALL characters died

  • at the end? Long story short: I do think the idea was good, but wasn't really thought about. Mind you, this is my own opinion and I do think that everything else about the game was awesome.

  • The whole point of this game was to tell the LOST story of the real hero of the War of the Lions. It seems like it would be hard to hide the truth if all the main characters had lived.

  • this isn't the end

final fantasy tactics, FF XII, and Vagrant Story was set in the same world, only in different times

  • this is the end of the game -______-

  • all the games made from ivalice alience are from ivalice, hence the name, the first one however, being tactics, then advance, 12, revenant wings, advance 2, and now the remkae of tactics, thats all i can think of

  • Actually I think this is the end.All of the other games take place thousands of years before Tactics. Which could mean that Mustadio is Balthiers great great great great great great great great great grandson! Shocking. They have the same last name if you didn't know. >_>

  • YUp but there is 1 game tht take after this 1, is Vagrant Story in this game there is refenrences of the Zodiac Brave Story, also happens on Ivalice

  • Is Vagrant Story also a game like FF tactics?

  • True but Vagrant story isn't at all related to Tactics except for a few names that appear on the games.

  • @ElChupiNibro not ff7,thats the future

  • @FaceXDpalm FF 7 is a different dimension than tactics, and in tactics, it even stated that they had great technology in the past, but something happened and all that technology was lost.

  • @XfullmetalRocker noooooo f tactics is definitly the past and besides they said they brought cloud from the FUTURE...well thats only when you get cloud

  • @FaceXDpalm if you payed attention, it said that the machine was a space portal tlhat transported people from different dimensions when cloud appeared. FF Tactics stated that in St. Ajora's time there was great technology and airships were in the air. Kinda like how there was almost no technology in FF 10 since they thought it was a sin to use technology and most of it got washed away into the ocean.

  • @XfullmetalRocker you know what?!screw your st.ajora people theyre wrong!they just choose to hide all that info and fft is the past so there...bite me

  • @FaceXDpalm dude, they're two different dimensions entirely, and FFT is the future in its dimension since FF 12 was its past and there were airships. In FFT, there's even guns and airship ruins, they had awesome technology in the past, but lost it all. So FFT is the future. Just like how FF10 had great technology, but Sin came along and destroyed it all, that was better technology than FF7, FFT is the future in its dimension. In the scene of cloud it even says, DIMENSION, not time...

  • @XfullmetalRocker FF7.IS.IS.FUTURE.NOW.STFU

  • @FaceXDpalm dude, how childish is it to say STFU when I'm telling the truth? You need to get your facts straight before running your mouth. FFT and FF7 are different dimensions and both have the same time, so they are both the future, or only FFT is the future, get your facts straight.

  • @XfullmetalRocker hey....shut up.i could care less aobut what you have to say.P.S your wrong

  • @FaceXDpalm wow real mature, you could state why you think FF7 is the future, but instead, you reply with saying your wrong or STFU, like a little baby, you need to get through puberty and grow up, I have a right to say what I want, oh and P.S. learn to spell, you don't spell ABOUT aobut. So, if you could care less about what I have to say, why do you read my comments and reply?

  • @XfullmetalRocker dude you really need to shut up.just beacause i type fast andi mess words up doesnt mean you have to critisize me...adn YOU really need to grow up and stop being such a geek about everything

  • @FaceXDpalm wow, your telling me to grow up, I type fast as well, but I realize when I need to fix my words. I need to grow up just because you say I'm a geek about everything for stating my opinion, seriously? You need to get a life and grow up, as I said, telling someone to shut up just because they state an opinion you don't like makes you sound like a crying little baby who should go back to mommy. They're just games, so get over yourself and move on, thank you.

  • @XfullmetalRocker You didnt need to comment on my comment wayyyyyy back after you had to try and be right about everything.I'm no cry baby and no geek so just stop commenting on everything i say and get off your computer and do something else besides sit at your computer each day just trying to be right about something stupid

  • @FaceXDpalm You say what your already doing, its really sad, so now, I'm not going to reply to your comments anymore, so stop getting worked up over nothing. Seriously, go find a job, thank you, and good bye. At least I have some courtesy.

  • @XfullmetalRocker hey he finally shut up after what?a week congratulations would you like a medal?Because i could care less on what you have to say

  • @XfullmetalRocker Rockers for the win! (Y)

  • @ElChupiNibro I wish there was one after it though, during the events of when the Durai Papers were revealed. I mean even in the ending of Tactics it says that maybe the next generation will learn from past mistakes and live a life of justice like Ramza did.

  • @ElChupiNibro Technically, you are correct. But Arazalam Durai is Orran's great great great great great great great grandson. And he is the narrator of this story.

Luso could be living in Ivalice's modern age.

  • @ElChupiNibro

Technically Vagrant Story is the last in the timeline.

  • @ElChupiNibro but what about ff13?

  • @ElChupiNibro Not really bathier is in this game on psp.

  • Great story. I disagree that it was the best FF story, I cannot dismiss the others simply because they attempted to tell stories that reflected their passion. Video Games have become virtual simulations void of this passion. (my opinion)

  • @Obeth14 agreed.......long live Square Enix!!

  • Hey , why is this run like a turtle? Is this true PSP speed. If it is, I must think serious about buying that console.

  • Oh no, this is because of a homebrew interfering with the game, like Remotejoy. It records video clips of the game screen. This was on an old firmware for the PSP, but it's now fixed. ^^

  • Comment removed

  • "the true hero of this tale was the man forgotten".

this game in his 2 versions (original and PSP), are a masterpiece.

this have the best story of all final fantasy sagas

i wonder if with the fire emblem graphics would catch the attention of FFVII, FFX and FFXII faggots...

i dont know really this game its like shakespeare's stories made a RPG.

    cya..

  • all other Final Fantasy's had such crap stories = HERP DERP ANGSTY TEEN SAVES DAY, GETS WOMAN

but FFT was a bit more intricate - religion, philosophy that didn't involve stupid symbolism, and chaos.

  • Damn what horrible lag that version suffers from.

  • best final fantasy story ever

  • "They're alive. They're both of them alive!"

  • How did you record the audio for this? I am also using RometJoy, but Audio does not record.

  • Fint med lite flickor som spelar FF - Serien ;)

  • The difference between this ending and the last ending reminds me of the scene of Clerks when they argue whether Return of the Jedi or Empire Strikes Back is better.

  • i love the game and ending but i hate the last ending!!!!

the last ending is that princess ovelia stabs delita....i wonder why she said you used all of them!!!

  • She meant it by that Delita used Ramza for his own gain just as Ramza's brother used Delita sister trireta (I know misspelled, but who cares she dies anyway) Also she meant it in the sense that she was used by Delita as well. I mean he became "king" after he married Ovelia.

  • I like the Original Ending WAY BETTER!!

  • I love Final Fantasy Tactics. One of the best.

  • ......Tragic ending, their free but their deeds unknown, free from the evil clutches but forced to live in secrecy after his noble deeds...geez I sound like a poet:P

  • But then which person is the better? Ramza living without public recognition, of Delita becoming king after manipulating every person he knows and becoming the very kind of person he hated in Chapter One?

  • heya!!! where can i download it?? plzzzzz someone just reply!!! hehehhe someone please respond!!! hehehe i meant is psp right?!?!?

  • Yes but they could create a sequal where Arazlam tries to locate and inform the world about the churches. Along the way the churches try to prevent them and in the end a great war happens with the church and the kingdom. That would be intense and if you use the right hero a great game.

  • Yes, but because Arazlam seems so old his back would probably give out.

  • I think they should a young new fighter help Arazlam spread this informations.

  • maybe his descendents, maybe somebody of his family which starts in the military.

  • so is Ramza and Alma alive? or is that just their ''spirit'' roaming Ivalice?

    :3 someone please reply.

  • You saw them didn't you? Just because the brother and sister weren't ever seen by anyone in Ivalice doesn't mean they are dead.

They are no longer responsible for saving the world, and then not getting credit for it.

They actually get to live their lives, as opposed to being tools of fate in the Brave Story. Who knows, maybe their story, or a story about their children, would be a good sequel?

Only that instead of basing it on European history and politics, put it in the wild west. ^_^

  • So... They're not dead?

  • Nowhere is it explicitly stated that they were dead, so I choose to believe they aren't. In the wiki it states that their fate is unknown, and the final appearance could have been a hallucination.

I think it is up to the player to decide how they want the story to end. I gave a brief desciption of how I interpreted the ending, in that after saving the world the last thing on your mind is to just keep going.

It is a bittersweet ending, but I think there is wiggle room for interpretation.

  • Ramza was one of the few main FF characters I liked. So I really don't want him to die.

  • In my opinion he's alive with his sister :)

  • Yeah he's probably just unimportant so noone notices him...

  • I am pretty sure they actually died. everyone did in your party.

  • Just so you know, even though Ovelia stabbed Delita, he didn't die. The beginning of the game tells you about his "long and peaceful rule." Ovelia probably died, though.

She stabbed him because she thought he'd used her and Ramza for his own ends only. She also didn't know let Balmafula/Valmafra go, let Orlandu escape, etc, because he kept secrets from everyone, including her. So she kinda went crazy (think Ophelia [=Ovelia?] in "Hamlet").

He probably stabbed her back just in reflex. :(

  • This is why they should make a sequel of this game. A new hero that is determine to reveal the true about the war and the church. All the good people die Orran and Olan. It will also help expose delta as the tyrant he really was.

  • Lol Best game ever I beat it 30 mins ago XD best ending ever I liked teh pictures in the background of the credits :D

  • ovelia finds out thats delita used her just like he used everybody else so she stabs him

  • jus beat it the other day....man wish it was a bit longer...atleast give ur 2 more chpters

  • lmao and delita marries ovelia thats weird in the ps1 he stabs her with a knife 0.o

  • yes he also stabs her at the end on the psp vers too...after the the story part it showed him talkin to her then he stabbed her

  • i still dont no y he did that tho

  • I've played the PS1 version through many times and watched the full ending. It is nearly the same as the PSP version's. The written wording at the end the PS1 version states that Delita married Ovelia. At the very end, if you watch closely, Ovelia stabs Delita first. He then pulls the knife out of his own body and stabs her with it. The more times you play this game, the more you pick up and it starts to make sense. Hmmm...

  • so why did she stab him, then he stabbed her> i dont get it, pelase explain!!!

  • Sorry man, I wish I could tell you, but it is a bit mysterious to me too. Ovelia was such a tenderhearted and caring person throughout the game, so it seems totally against her nature to murder someone, even if he got to the top by stepping on EVERYONE's head.

  • The theme of this game is the idea of using people. For good for bad, for gain. Ovelia is the symbol of what everyone was trying to use. Even though delita used her for the purest purpose, he still used her, and never told her of the people he DIDN'T kill. The fact remains she was his pawn through it all. Ramza, and Alma live. Everyone lives. The idea that the Zodiac stones can be used for good, as well as evil is centrifocal to the theme of "using" something/someone.

  • However I believe that the zodiac stones were all there with them. there in existed enough power to save all of them. Like when Rafa and Malak were on the roof and Elmdor's assassin's tried to kill him. the stones saved him. I believe that because both Virgo and Leo were with Alma and Vormav that they were used by them to save everyone, combined with the ones you gained throughout the natural events in the game. This is just my humble opinion, and is based off my over 10year love for this game.

  • how do you know they actually lived. i mean, theres no sequel or anything. and dont you think they wouldve stopped when they saw orlan ( i think it was him)

  • You don't know that they lived. But like I said, in my opinion. In the end, the Zodiac Stones could have prevented this loss. It could go the other way, considering Olan was branded a Heretic, and the church covered it up. BTW, AJ Durai from Vagrant Story, and Alazlam J D are the same person. And I've wanted a Sequel to this game since I beat it.

  • He does the same thing in this game. SPOILER SPOILER!!! He marries Ovelia to gain the Crown as King of Ivalice. Then he stabs her at the end so she wouldn't get in the way(this video says "Part 1"). He stabs her in Part 2 scene.
