@yoothie the movie u were referring starred that one lady Der Thao..in it she was a singer. i too remember it, b/c i wanted to watch this movie after i saw that one long ago..and totally agree that the hmong one sucked big time..sorry can't remember the title though..

yes.. i do know wat dubbed means. i know, some aren't great and the one i saw of this one that the hmong production did was really bad.. no offense to anyone who saw or know about.. but i didn't like it. i dk, it didn't have that much feelings in it..

i'm all for watching things in it's original form, but the opening song in the Hmong dubbed version fit so much better. The song just has such sad undertones to it that matched perfectly to the longingness (if that's a word) theme that this film carries throughout. Even though you only see a bit of it, you feel it and it sets the whole movie up. Love it!

This one doesn't have the same effect.

I saw the other movies you have been posting and wasn't really interested until I saw this! I'm such a 90's kid. I remember watching this and Errant Love when I was little ^^ Now that I'm on winter break, I think I'm gonna watch all these movies :D Thanks soo much.
