helicopter missions. Dont remember playing a game with such sucky chopper gameplay... jets? with bulshit where when u're right behind the enemy, your jet will literally fly by itself... following the enemy, weird sound effects and camera motions just to make the player awed, that's not effective today... not even cockpit view?... nah man... all that ruins it's gameplay... Not saying it's a bad game.. i liked it, but every other title specially AC3, and the ones for PS2 and PSP beat this one.

@minniyer I'm sure this game is an experiment to see if these elements work (I.E helicopter missions, A-C 130 gunship missions, etc.) and I think it's to lure newer players to the game, but meh, I really hope it goes back to the fictional world in the next game if it comes out though. also I'm sure they're going to add the ace mode again, so I think it will be very difficult, to me anyway :\

@minniyer I've played 04, 5 and zero and I can say even with DFM and ASM getting top ranks in this is a whole lot harder than the previous games.

Then added some stuff and they sell it like a game. But that game comes with a really big!! manual, that explain all air dinamycs, all the intrument copick until the last botton, and the mission was like a real mission.

@2ez3ar BF3 will be fun, I have no doubt, but adding ground forces to the game (like tanks, infantry, jeeps, ect.) takes resources away from what they can put in the air (fighters, bombers, helicopters). The air to air combat will be no where near as diverse, exhilarating or entertaining as Ace Combat, simply because of the fact that Ace Combat is solely based on air combat. Any gamer who plans on piloting fighter-jets this October won't be buying BF3...unless they're buying both.

@Hendri2285 No, I stand by the fact that AC has ALWAYS been better in Air Combat. BF3 is a different genre. Please do not be confuse by both. While the latest BF3 trailer looks great on Air Combat but the main gameplay is still a shooter, not an actual simulation.

I like the BF franchise too. But let's face it, a game made specifically for Air Combat will feature more airplanes than BF3. BF3 is more of an all rounder exp. for gamers
